  1. Design : S7
    Software : Both
Battery : Both (Since S7 has a bigger battery and fast wireless charging but G5 has a replaceable battery)
    Screen quality : S7
Durability : S7 (Since it have no removable body parts and it has IP68)
Camera : Both (Since S7 has a superfast autofocus and better lowlight photos and G5 has dual cameras.
    Speaker : G5

  2. If you are choosing between them in 2018, there is no contest. You can get an LG G5 for $100. It's the clear winner in terms of price per value.

  3. Hi, I'm doubting between the g5, the s6, the a5 and the honor 8.. Any thoughts, recommendations or tips?

  4. Modular is definitely something of the future, but just not the way which it happen. Definitely an LG thing, thinking outside of the box.

  5. the g5's always on display is not exactly like samsungs since it is not an amoled display meaning that the black screen is backlight on the g5 while on the gs7 it only shows the contents of the always on display.

  6. hi does anyone know the performance on emulation and games on android nougat vs marshemellow on the LG G5. Since i had regrets on the G4 lagging and slow gameing performance upgrading lolipop to marshmellow. And can someone showme test because i dont want to risk gameing performance.

  7. I'm loving how unbiased and level-headed the reviews are. I'm actually close to upgrading my phone to so I'm coming from the Sony Xperia Performance video and then found this video as well. I will definitely be checking out and looking forward to more reviews on the latest phones from Android Authority to help me decide what phones to choose from in the future! 😀

  8. the g5 is the better phone than s7 because of all the other functionalities gives the hard ware better so i prefer LG

  9. i changed from a LG 2 phone to Samsung Note 5 about a year ago… I miss my LG now more than ever.

LG has better keyboard (i had to get a keyboard app to get something useful on note5), LG has better screen options – more flexibility/icon modification and fit more per screen view.

LG has far superior app setups that come with it – like the Weather app design and scale. LG has specific sound customization vs samsung where once I choose a notification sound it plays the same sound for text, email or fb pop-up. Things in Samsung are just clunkier and not well thought out like the LG options.
