  1. Would love to be in the design meeting – cannot understand why the fingerprint sensor has to be where it is. Are they being different for the sake of it?

  2. i honestly hate this design the note 9 is better in every way and the reason i don't want the note 9 is the curved screen cornes and rounded screen, what set sony phones apart was the unique design NOTHING looks better than a xz1, i hope this phone fails so badly they have to go back to the old design.

  3. I love the design and finally an OLED screen that everyone like (oled haven't been 'modern' and never experiment with quad pixel like the LCD on the G7). $900 is a bit to swallow, but it is worth it.

  4. bought the xz2 after the xz3 unveil has the same features except side touch and better battery life and poled screen, really don't care about them xz2 is better than xz3 in my opinion

  5. Fimgerprint reader should be where the camera is.
And Sony (that delivers lenses to the best phone cameras) does have camreas that can't compete to the other top models😑 They REALLY need to step up the game if I am going to buy one

  6. if it had 6gb ram i would go for it, but the price for spec is a little high, i can deal with 64gb as it has micro sd, i can deal with lack of 3.5mm and i can deal with 1 camera o nthe rear but coupled with 4gb ram, the high price tag and the prospect of an xz3 premium with the newer 855 in 6 months, it just doesnt make sense, loving the new design now, just need to fix that back panel placement

  7. I think Sony is too late for the party, the industry is not looking for design innovation anymore but for well priced smartphone, since most phones have reached their best design and almost look the same with each other . Sony should now focus on customer support which will eventually speak for their brand. Thou i love Sony phones and I'm still using my xperia z5. Great build quality at competitive price should be the next game changer, with one plus and pocophone showing how it's done.

  8. For everyone who is complaining about the 4gb ram, youtube speed comparison for xz2 {4 gb ram) wihat other flagships. Sony phones has always performed flawless. It's well optimized and the Sony layer os is not that invasive. It's close to stock android. You don't really need 6-8gb ram on a phone.

  9. Sony must be popular everywhere else but in the United states(cellphone devices only) because if they are producing a new flagship phone every six months, they must be selling like hotcakes in those countries. I've have never noticed anyone using a sony phone. I'm taking about friends, family, co workers and customers or anywhere in public, and yes, I do look at what brands of phones people use(one of my many habits). I'm here because I like to know what new flagship phones are being released.

  10. Way overpriced considering this phone is merely a repackaged XZ2 with a bigger screen. No huge spec changes and still no headphone jack. This phone is DOA despite Sony fanboys thinking otherwise.
