  14. I will get one for the first time in my new ipad Pro 2020. I don't mind that they have gone to this new connector since I can see that it is better, and also more unified with other vendors.

  15. its a shame all so costly, and these companies change things faster than one can pay for new ones. they think the average family has the pocketbook of a large corporation. And people jump on it all spending high dollars like fools instead of saying NO WAY to the high price. if people would hold out just alittle, these companies would be forced to stop gouging us all.

  18. great explanation. It is surprising that here it is 2020, 5 years after this video came out, and it is still relavant. The one thing I would have added was the ability to use the new usb c multiple port hub devices. like one with multiple hdmi ports, usb ports, sd card sockets, etc. of course those have probably come out since 2015.

  20. Kinda annoying how I bought a usb stick for my new C350e Mercedes, only to realize the damn car has a USB-C slot! So now the usb stick I bought is worthless. I gotta go and buy another one. But here's the kicker…
    My laptop doesn't have USB-C either, only standard, rectangular USB slots… So I also have to buy an adapter for my computer, to be able to put any music onto my USB-C drive and then shove the thing in the car.

  21. I have a Apple iPad Pro 2019 3 rd generation, it has one USB c port on the side. I can’t use irig products , camera connection kit, …etc becoz they a have a lighning port on 90 % of all gadgets. Do you have a cable or adaptor so I can use my iPad Pro with dongles, gadgets with USB-C CABLES..ETC THX

  28. i have a dell and an hp both have the usb c but function differently. Seems they are not as universal as presented. usb-c connetion to a docking station works for Dell but not HP (at least for monitors) Other docking station connected items like bluetooth key board and mouse work as expected.
