This car is a representation of its low quality owner and not Lexus. Any of these cars that were even remotely taken care of are still rock solid today and quiet as a church mouse inside.
Nice fake wood! Hey dude, if you're going to rip on a car, at least know the facts! The wood trim was made by musical instrument division of Yamaha and is as nice as you'll find in any 2004 auto. The GPS system, while primitive by todays standards, was as good as it gets in 2002. The leather in my 2008 looks good as new and better than a lot of the competition. The Mark Levinson sound system was again remarkable for a factory system in 2004. It's also not surprising that a 20 year old car has some squeaks and rattles. You loose all credibility with false, untrue, and just plain dumb statements. Your one true statement: It was a sales failure. It's relatively high price and lack of practicality put it in a a small niche market which by the way does not make it a bad car to own. I adore my 2008 tigereye mica SC430 and I get complements almost daily on it's beauty.
Glad it was a failure, I can buy one anytime I want for less than 8k and that same motor is in the luxury sedans and I’ve seen those with 350k miles

1. Your talking about a 20 yr old vehicle. 2. It is not a sports car it's a cruiser. 3. If I bought an older car I would love a disc player along with a cassette player. 5. Lexus (Toyota) does not have to apologies to you or anyone else on their products. 6. Rip the car and then make a disclaimer not to dislike it. 7. Tell us what vehicle doesn't have plastic? 8. Complain to the former owner and rip him for the non maintenance. 9. Most people hated your video but I not trying to not dislike it. 10. The seat was squeaking because you had it all the way back. You're obviously too tall for the car, that's all.
100K on my 2007 Pebble Beach edition. Trouble free except rack and pinion power steering leaks. $3k fix. Fun car, fantastic stereo

I think it's a fine car. And it's not just a Toyota. The suspension is better, more insulation, more luxurious than any Toyota. Like when you compare the Lexus ES 350 against the Camry. The ES 350 is bigger beginning in year 2013 +. Way more luxurious than any Camry. Just saying.
