4. with the piston twisted to the side, I hope they checked for bent valves, the pockets only have so much clearance before hitting if twisted or rocking from a skirt issue.
   when it broke and cranked over with a very dead no compression cylinder, which quickly got better after cooling off, my ears and thoughts instantly said bent/sticking valve stem, which released after cooling down.
