Miami Police VLOG: HEAT SHIELD Large Scale Active Shooter Training



We conducted a large scale training scenario where we incorporated our fire department into our insertion teams to expedite our life saving efforts. This is the first time we are incorporating this new approach into one of large scale training events and our officers along with our fire department had to work side by side as one to o our Follow us:

  2. Outstanding job Miami PD!!! Great training. The department I’m on has done a few but can never be enough. I’d love to see more SWAT videos of their training and vest/belt setup.

  3. This reminds me of the mass casualty exercises we used to have during my time in the military, . Moulage kits were gruesome. lol!

  4. I always enjoyed doing these training type scenarios. It helps to have training to fall back on in a real world scenario.  Plus in these trainings my K9 partner ALWAYS got a Bite or THREE!!!  HOAH!!!!!  Nice video, thanks.

  7. always good training to have. you never know when a situation like this can occur. a few hours of training can literally make a huge change in the number of casualties.
