If the US gov wants data for the use of under run guards, look to Europe, we've had guards for 40 years.
How convenient……. Becomes an advocate only after she was impacted.
Sorry. They need to change the trucks! I know a man that died and he was decapitated. His tiny wife crouched under the dash-she was so tiny it saved her life. She became a widow and saw her husband die needlessly due to the lack of the guard on the back of the truck. There is so much wrong with the rules that allow people to be mutilated, even killed.
Hey interviewer guy we are no longer in the depths of the pandemic ..you can chill with the mask 🙄😆
After watching the full documentary. The next day I was keen to look at most trucks that I came around here in Kenya and given that I work close to many factories around. I was surprised to see that all the big trucks I came across had the safety guards being discussed to have been missing for a long time in the American trucks causing these carnage. Am still lost of words.
Another slanted, misleading documentary from PBS. The "investigative" reporter went to a truck stop, for ambiance, but never asked any working truck driver for comments.
75% of all fatal crashes involving cars & semi-trucks are caused by the car. That number has held steady over the 28 years I drove semi-trucks.
Put the phone down, stop speeding, stop hanging out in the left most lane for all but the first & last six inches of your trip.
There are many railroad crossing where having devices that close to the ground will cause a truck & trailer to get stuck at the crossing. Imagine how expensive your car would be if the American Trucking Association designed it so that no matter how careless or reckless a car driver behaved the truck involved in a car vs truck accident would be able to continue trucking after a dristrated car driver drove into it.
Lefties scapegoat any large industry that isn't already paying protection money to their groups.
The full story is not being told here, she may have slowed down and swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle and PUT her vehicle directly in front of the braking truck that hit her car. Frontline are famous for skewing their stories.
How does this affect Lebron’s legacy?
Most of life is luck, good or bad.
John Walsh made a lot of money off the death of his son, too.
I'm surprised one of the daughters was actually pulled out alive. In those types of accidents you generally get cut in half
What are they trying to prove with this documentary that drivers are the bad guys?
So sad. We are so smart and so careless sometimes.
Big Government isn’t bad Big Business is.
Why are you wearing a mask & not her?
Why does that guy have a diaper on his face?
Can't wait to see this documentary
I stay the hell away from trucks. Trucks should have their own roads. Trucks and cars dont mix.
My condolences to you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Anyway, last night june 12 2023 around 11:10, I went outside on my balcony, I saw the stars move into a triangle. I did notice that it was only 3 of them that move very fast, I try to record it, but late, anyway, first time I seen the starts move , and also notice that they lined up in 3s. Than about 20 minutes later they brought in the clouds , smoke what it was, so they cover up the stars moving, if they are stars, I don't think their stars, you tell me or someone tell me what they are?
The fact that the government has been looking at this issue for over 30 years now and only started making considerable legislative changes in the last 10 speaks volumes of where their priorities are when it comes to taking care of their own at home.
This poor women!! My heart goes out to her!!
