  1. Comes down to speed and talent. Minnesota, aside from two receivers and a DB, are way overmatched on both. I dont expevt a great game. I expect a double digit PSU lead headed into the 4th, a little rally then a Noah Cain death nail.

  2. Lol Minnesota beat GA southern by 3 and Purdue by 7. You guys cant be serious. And your best win was Illinois. But we will show up and beat that shit down in a cold early start. Plus we will help fill up your little stadium. WE ARE. Minnesota has no one to control kj!!

  3. Thanks Randy!! Love you bro! Tell your colleague that Ski U Mah is not a “crazy P. J. Fleck rambling, but the U if M motto for a century. P J is for real.!

  4. On its face, this could be a very good game. But the 11 am start might not help the Gophers unless Penn State has jet lag and is not quite awake at the start of this game. I think the game is close in the 1st half, but PSU pulls away late. PSU only gives up a nation's best 1.99 yds per rush and is 7th with 30 sacks. I think this will be the difference in the game. PSU's QB will have more time to throw than Minnesota's QB and will win the turnover battle. 27-17 PSU

  5. What I’ve seen so far is that Minnesota is a run heavy offense and Penn state has the best run defense in the nation. So I think the offenses on both of these teams are explosive but in giving penn state the win. I think they are the better team.

  6. Before the season began, my prediction was that Minnesota would win the West. So far, so good.
Those of you who think Penn State will win by 30 plus points.
You're in for a surprise. That's not going to happen.
It's going to be a competitive game. Who wins? We'll find out Saturday. That's why they play the game on the field.

  7. Penn State has the #2 Run Defense in the country. If you think that Minnesota is going to be able to run the ball against this team, you got another thing coming. This is the most athletic front seven in the country other than Ohio State. The Minnesota offensive line will be overwhelmed like they were earlier in the year. Penn State will score points. Penn State and not even close.

  8. This barely beat (fill in any unranked team) non-sense is a weak point. Both teams played easy non-cons and showed growth through B1G play. PSU has taken on a tougher schedule down the stretch. Beating Michigan is a solid win (thanks to them beating the golden domers) and Iowa at Kinnick regardless of rank is a difficult venue to walk out victorious. Meatchicken, O$U, and PSU can all share their pain from past games at Kinnick. Minnesota has definitely played several basement dwellers in the B1G play but have looked stronger and more confident in each win. Their offensive line is yuuuuuge and they have several future draft picks at the offensive skill positions, the WR's are legit. PJ will have the gophers ready, but their lack of execution on special teams will be the difference. PSU's punt coverage and return game will make a major impact on the field position and provide a short field for the lions while pinning the gophers deep. 34-24 Lions.

  9. This is why teams with losses are ranked over Minnesota! It's disgusting 😡 I'm hoping Minnesota beats Penn State in their House just to shut down the critics and the bias in the current ranking system! No team with a loss should be ranked over an undeafeted team period, that's Nuts! 😡
