  1. Great deal for the Angel's. Trout has helped them win .How many championships 0. The are a playoff team every year with him. NOPE. Can he pitch . Nope. Morons. At least the Nationals were smart enough to let Harper go. Since he didn't deliver a championship either. Or Mercado. These 3 teams will regret their signings.

  2. Why do conservatives hate America? They don't want to pay taxes, but they want to borrow money from China to buy aircraft carriers, stealth fighters and tanks.

  3. If Trout went to Texas he's be on the crappy Rangers or the cheating Astros. Florida is the cheapskate Marlins and cheapskate Rays. I doubt Trout cares about it. The Angels are the only team that believed in him in the draft so he's staying with them.

  4. I'd imagine that pro sports players' agents may have tax lawyers or accountants who specialize in handling taxation issues for their clients. And while I'm sure that it sounds very complicated for us laymen, I imagine that these specialists probably have it all down pat. There might be some individual stuff that adds a layer of complexity like having a residence in state different from where your team plays. And there might be some mildly tricky stuff when dealing with tax issues when you have teams in two different countries, i.e. the US and Canada. And perhaps it gets a little more tricky for a few NFL players when there's that yearly game over in the UK, since it's hard to imagine that the UK gave the NFL a free pass on income taxes for the players in that game.

Overall, it's probably one of those problems that nice to have, so to speak. That is, making a ton of money as a sports player, even if one of the minor annoyances the multi-jurisdictional tax issues.
