Hey that the same column in my 88 Plymouth 😊
I know it’s a choice..but why don’t you use a magnet tray for the screws and bolts 😂
A high school buddy of mine who lived down the street from me growing up had one of these. It looked exactly the same . He also put big rims on his. His was light blue though. Same year.
in Australia when i was young we called the engine a donk,
Thos wiper blades had me rolling laughter!! 🤣 I needed that! Thank you sir
Impalas are graceful Donk is well ….. not so much
A donk has to be a 71-76 impala or Caprice
That is not a donk
When they call a car a donk down south they are referring it to a woman’s ass as the rear end of the car bounces like a girls butt lol I’ve also heard people down south say “damn that woman got a donk on her” referring to her butt. So it’s kind of like saying it’s a beautiful car the bounces I guess. That’s what I’ve always thought and heard but I could be wrong. I don’t think it’s the symbol being a donkey haha that kind of a childish answer honestly 😂😂
It's like a big 3D puzzle. I don't know how you remember where all those little pieces go and which way they sit and turn, etc. I could never manage all of that.
You didn’t need replacing bearings. This is normal until you install the spring.
Ha ha – in the 80thies I worked with lots of those cars. Common problem😂
I bought a brand-new Chevrolet Caprice 2 door in 1985 when I was 24. It was a great car but not as good as my mom's 72 Caprice 2 door.
Grab both sides of that steering wheel and pull towards you side to side. Usually works for me. It's not typically a tapered fit. I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge. I'm learning things from you. Subscribed
I bought a GM steering puller from Harbor Freight that has tools for that job. I used to have an old Cutlass. I'd give it to you if you were local.
Wouldn't you be better off by getting another steering column from a salvage yard?
There was a body in there! The last tech?
It probably would have been easier to source a replacement column in the same color. I remember those days, that system was such a PIA. Sorry brother, I wrote this before the end.
Why would someone steal a donk?
Wiper Parking switch relay is probably bad.
Hahahahahahaha THE WIPER ISSUE GOTS ME DYING OF LAUGHTER!!!!!
Slam Donk
