  1. They're not used to being shot back by their targets lmao. Having a gun and fancy gear won't make you the law of the land or bulletproof.

    Koresh sure was a nutjob, but the ATF is even nuttier here.

  2. The main thing about this was the news van was asking around the area if something was gonna go down and one of the people they ended up asking was a cult member (they didn't know at the time). News vans have a police scanner too and they heard from it for all ambulances to be on standby. That's what made them ask around for a story to cover.
    The ATF knew for in order to win they had so take the armory first. They needed the element of surprise! And when planning they got a lucky guess on where the armory in the place was. But unfortunately the cultists were alerted ahead of time and were waiting for the agents. The plan was good but one thing messed it all up.
