I read the news today about Facebook’s renaming to assert their future as a leader in the “metaverse,” and it brought to mind what this channel really about.

Thank you Pete! Social media proves that man's natural progression without God is chaos. The closer we are to The Creator's creation, maybe we can introduce less of "the curse" upon what we touch.
Outstanding!
So very well put, Pete.
Pet, I agree completely. I am glide to hear someone younger that understands what a mass we are making. The only thing that would make your Chanel better is a five ft. Soap box and a bullhorn. Keep up the good work.
It’s a state of mind and planting your feet on the real ground. I’ve never done the social media per say Facebook insta gram and whatever else no thank you.
Thank you Pete, we love you:)
So well said and I could not agree more. I might even take it a step further and say that social media takes away our connections to each other and the ability to interact people and the world around us. The pandemic, such a horrible thing, had one Possitive impact. It showed many of us the need for the family bond as well as a need for a way to be close to nature and a simpler life. For us the answer is a cabin in the mountains with a vegetable garden and maybe eventually some chickens. Thank you for showing us all what we all need to see. (We enjoy it too!)
Good on ya Pete!
I got it, ages ago (before I subscribed). That's why I subscribed…
I’m so sorry I called you Paul not Peter i apologized
I don’t get on here and post that many things about my life I’m a very private person and I like to keep it that way but I have a very rare autoimmune disorder it is called MDA5 Dermatomyositis and it causes me not to be able to get around very easily in 2018 I went to the doctor because I was losing my ability to walk and from then on I have been struggling to get some of my functions back because of this stuff it is a mutation and sometimes it’s a struggle just to get out of bed I can no longer sit up by myself I have a potty chair that I used because I can no longer bend or stoop like I used to but I watch You and I have the best time through you so Paul Keep doing what you’re doing live life every day to the fullest don’t let people tell you how to run anything I went from working 70 hours a week to nothing got very down in the mouth and I found Jesus and I love positive people like you because it gives me inspiration to try harder even though you have your downtime you also have your fun times with your family and that’s very important to me so thank you so much for what you do
You are absolutely right. I have decided to buy a small farm.
I respectfully and totally disagree Pete , the most important thing a person can do is reconnect with Jesus Christ ,my lord and savior.
Wow. Just wow. ❤️❤️❤️💯
I kindoff agree with you, but,it seems that a lot of the potentially violent haters come from the sticks, where you would expect them to have nature all around.
Thank you for sharing. We are first generation family Farmers and homesteading to get back to Knowing where our food comes from and being able to provide that for our family as well. The ability to teach our children how to do these things is so important. Consumerism is a big empty hole of distraction.
Wow, I just thought that I was watching you because I liked you and your farm…but now you are telling me that this “like” of mine has MUCH more Financial meaning to those who provide the platform in delivering what I like??…..and you actually know that….ALL of that has a significant financial value for them and down the line..for you!!!???
I
Wow!!! Call me a country bumpkin…the irony is too crazy..I live in a huge metropolitan city, in a forward thinking, progressive community and I literally have been aligned into knowing the truth.
First of all, let me say thank you! Second of all…I have to seriously contemplating what YT is after here…and why!
I'll have to be honest the only true peace you will ever get is if I accept Jesus Christ into your heart.
Noticed the string instruments. Maybe A Few Acres Farm Christmas Concert. Woot!
As always, another great video Pete!
Thanks Pete ! Great and useful content. And presented very well too.
I cannot agree more Pete! Ive come so close to getting rid of my social media. And the city life I live in (Toronto, Canada) stresses me out so much. My happy place is the outdoors and always has been since I was a kid. My goal is to leave the city and be rural and in touch with nature more, my happy place!
Pete – I'm on the same journey as you and appreciate your comments. Social media magnifies the most extreme and unstable people voices. Getting back to the land is one way to help, but equally is as important is building community face to face. Thank you for a positive voice!
Hello Pete, great video, agree with most of your comments, problem for a lot of people is they simply don't have the means to escape from post, industrial decay, I live in Sheffield England an old industrial town, made famous for its cutlery & steel production, in its heyday, the industries employed hundreds of thousands of people, we now have retail, leisure & security as the main elements of the employment market, employs a lot less people and much of the work is low waged, zero hours, many of the current jobs are being lost to new technology,
Pete Ive been saying that for years the more people living in city's the more out of touch and worse the world will be having said that I've went from growing up on a farm to having to move to a city for work but I plan on early next year moving back to the country I'm sick of the city and my kids deserve better.
hay that was wise words you are so right you have a valuable life style enjoy
Sadly our children and young adults have been addicted to all the electronics and have lot the ability to be with people. It has hurt how they value themselves. Please parents, put down you phone and take your kids phones away to spend time with your children and take them outside.🇨🇦
I definitely can relate !! I refer to this getting to nature as being CONTENT. The desire for happiness is to feel fulfilled, as in a purpose. I love farming and all this time is been about being able to afford it! It's a difficult balance. Thank you kind friend love the videos keep up the hard work.
Great video as usual Pete! You are so spot on about social media. So would prefer to be farming than what I do.
I AGREE 100 % I HAVE BEEN TOLD THE WORLD IS GOING TO BE LIKE THE DIRTY 30'S I SAY WE MIGHT NOT OF HAD MONEY IN THE DIRTY 30'S BUT WE COULD EAT BECAUSE OF SMALL FARMS THAT ARE ALMOST GONE NOW SO HOLD ON TO YOUR ASS BECAUSE THE DIRTY 30S WAS A WALK IN THE PARK COMPAIRED TO WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN
Thank you thank you thank you thank you. May God bless you and your message. Mike in North Carolina
I couldn’t agree more! I am most happy when I’m outside with my animals. Less is definitely more!
Thank you for putting into words. We are going the wrong way and we need to turn around.
Pete, once again you have put in to words what I think, but can't put into words. Thanks. Completely agree with all of what you said. Take care.
Pete, you are amazing. You are inspirational and always right on point. I look forward to every video you so graciously provide to us.
Transhumanism
As a horticulturist, I'll second what you're saying here. An upside to Covid, with a crud load of down side, is that many people have taken up gardening, and getting back into nature. It does a body, and the soul good!
Enjoyed meeting you at the market on Saturday. Thank you for the content.
Oh yes Pete ! You share the exact same ideas virtues and appreciation for life as it should be and how it was. My husband and I hold you in the highestvregard…you're spot on and we admire your willingness to speak out and point out so many things money can't buy…but rather God given for us to cherish and teach others about …only I find too often people can't even wrap their mind around the simple truths. It's sad and the demise of life as it was intended before all of this virtual living invaded our peace. Never stop reaching out and telling jokes…sitting with the herd …being one with these wonderful creatures God provided…2105 and the red dude that lick you are so funny ! You are a very lucky man ! We love pasture therapy with you and all of your unique topics you share with us ! You're a good egg Pete ! Your family.ily is blessed to have you . And we , your viewers are too !
I totally hear you! Our favorite days are clearing brush on our farm and tending our bon fires. We're so thankful that we are at the place in our life that we can do that. Maybe by next spring we'll have enough cleared to start installing fencing.
Great message, thank you
