This fence is driving me nuts! And the cows are out again. It seems like no matter how many weeds I clean off of it, it never gets any hotter. This is a job that requires stubborn perseverance, and I’ll get to the bottom of it!

Watching this in 2025 and i imagine those piglets have went to freezer camp and maybe even on someone's grill.
How many farmers, talking to their cows, call them "Miscreants!" Reminds of another time when Pete called a couple of unruly pigs "anarchists!" Pete, you're hilarious! ~~Jeff from CT
Shocking video 😀as usually

I love your cows.
I. Want to. Work there
The cod laying in hey watching you work is priceless

Love your HUMOR LOL 😂
Yay Penn State… I live very close to Penn State unv.
Hi Pete ,
Yup, I can see that you have sweet grass cattle. This is where I'm going to make my pitch for Scottish Highland cattle. For one thing , they produce a beef that is superior to both Black Angus and the Dexter. And they produce a superior milk also. Now , you are going to say , " but they are beef cattle . " Pete , think about it. Any animal that gives live birth and produces milk for it's off spring , can be milked. Goats , sheep , and the Mongolians even milk their horses. The Highland cattle produce a superior milk to the dairy cows. However , while the quality is higher , they are not dairy cows so the quantity is lower. Which makes them not suitable for commercial dairy use. But , one milking Highland cow will provide your family with more than enough milk.
But wait ! There is more ! The Highland cattle are very good for improving your pastures. Because you see, they will eat the weeds as well as the sweet grass. Which is something that your Dexters will not do. So along your fence lines , the Highlands will eat all of the weeds that they can reach without getting zapped. Highlands are also browsers so they will also take care of the brambles. Similar to goats. The Highlands are also about the same size as your Dexters as well as being quite gentle. See the old videos for Swedish Homestead for more information.
Hello Pete, I'm just a viewer and a new subscriber 🐖 I'm going through some rough thing in my life right now, and watching you and your family on your farm is making my issues less bothersome. I do love your jokes! I have been binge watching your stuff and its helping me get through mine, thank you for showing what life is like on your land. I love your philosophy on things. Thank you and happy farming🐮🐂🐖🐃
Loved it when you called the cows "miscreants". Lololol.
In Nepali we call cattle gaiz
Don’t worry about the fence. When you go around it again, you will find it and say to your self “why didn’t I see that before”
Collective eye roll from the peanut gallery on the SHOCKING joke, ha! My neighbor has a 240 mile fencer that doesn't slow down with a tree lying on it. Looking forward to the conclusion of this mystery!
Been that way here this year too.. cheers
I don’t like those orange lock jaw insulators either.
My biggest gripe is they pop off the T-posts way too easy especially after a year or so.
Ahh I see you’re wearing the proper tee in this one.
Corner posts the best to use is garden hose
Hey on a previous video you had you were driving ground rods with a hammer here’s a little trick that makes life easier if you have a hammer drill hook the hammer drill on to the rod and pull the trigger maybeThis will help you in the future not to have to work so hard
I have 10 Dexters and they don't touch the fence. Forgot to turn it on one time. Was off for three days and they never touched it. Don't know why yours trash the fence. Interesting.
Some times on electric fences that is the only thing that u can do
Can you still tell where the old bank barn was or has something else been built there?
I enjoy learning from your farm work. Thumbs up!
Hi like am like you keep going😤
Bang my head and think about it
Till l get it right
You will sort it out in the end xx
Sound of that H is worth the price of admission.
Hey Pete. It would be easier just to move the fence over into the shorter grass.
IN WITH THE NEW OUT WITH THE OLD THEY SAY

👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🗽🙏🏻 Enjoyed!
You guys need one that cuts forward and backwards! Lol
Hey Pete! I'm sure you fixed it while you weren't recording, but did you happen to fix the wire touching the post at 11:26? Looks like it's grounding out there. Hope you get it fixed soon. I know frustrating fences can be.
Have you ever considered making permanent fencing liks your winter pasture? Much More expensive but would save so much time in the long run lol.
Pete question for you. 13:00 Why the bull competition is important in the farm?
Those pigs – in one end & out the other!
You will find it eventually and the satisfaction you will get will bring you great joy…as my dad would say it will be the last place you looked…
Love your tool shed, very organised!
A hydrostatic tractor would be really nice for that job.
The Fence is always broken in the last place you look. Hang in there we are pulling for you, keep your stick on the ice.
Nothing like a bit of body weight to align those bolts.
