About Life Below Zero:
Life Below Zero follows six people as they battle for the most basic necessities in the state with the lowest population density in the United States. Living at the ends of the world’s loneliest roads and subsisting off the rugged Alaskan bush, they battle whiteout snow storms, man-eating carnivores, questionable frozen terrain, and limited resources through a long and bitter winter. Some of them are lone wolves; others have their families beside them. All must overcome despairing odds to brave the wild and survive through to the spring. And when spring arrives in Alaska, rising temperatures bring mounting challenges as they work to prepare for yet another winter.

  1. this guy is too much, nuts….all the others in the show want to be close to nature,
I understand that, though not my cup of tee. Glenn, however, wants to go back to the
Stone ages, no helpful tools, not even the chain saw. There would be so much more time
In his life to explore nature with just a little bit of help. It seems he loves to torture himself,
By overdoing everything. Living like the Amish….that would be understandable, but living like a
Caveman is way over the top.
He should stop whispering when hunting, can’t understand a word, might as well shut up
And the talk in exclamation points and over-exuberance is close to insanity.
    Oh Look!!!!!!! I GOT A STICK……A STICK…… IMAGINE THAT!!!!!I I MADE A STICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
WHO HAD THOUGHT!!!!!!!!I MADE A STICK!!!!!!!

  2. Buying a box of disposable lighters is also another method to starting fire. It also uses a semi-modern "ringer" for clothes. So, he is using somethings outside of "primitive" is he not?

  3. sometimes this programme seems to attract more weirdos commenting than they film…I could spend hours reading the comments on these little bits and pieces of film..bloody hilarious…carry on..nothing on tv any

  4. Grizzly Adams strikes do all realise he's not actually alone..and there is a film crew there as exactly life threatening and isolated is's good fun to watch..Glen bit of advice if your reading..stop wondering around and using any excuse for shaking the old wedding tackle at the world…we grans have seen more than enough..thanks in…

  5. ok…I saw the winter laundry chore and hanging out the clothes….well….I was thinking about all those frozen stiff jeans on the line….ummmm….

  6. This guys a trip,He'll smell yellow spots in the snow and tell you what it is..
"That's a mature male wolf with a slight bladder infection from a lack of iron in his diet.".lol

  7. In my opinion Glenn Villeneuve. well he's a thoughtful and careful man, pretty rare these days. The 1st show I saw in this series was when he was Caribou hunting and he didn't shoot any Caribou that day because he couldn't quite see if it was a pregnant cow, you know what I mean? Might sound strange, but he's thoughtful in that he's a careful shooter. Not a lot of like minded hunters out there let me tell you! I've seen the naked shame in too many men's faces after they are caught shooting something they are not supposed to shoot. And there's other stuff he does good too, but you'll just have to watch the series to really appreciate it.

  8. *goes into sneak mode

    *shouts aura whisper

*sees the lifeforce of all the wildlife around

    *sees that of a biped

*climbs up the mountain and sees several grisly animal skulls on display, before !!!

FORSWORN ATTACK A Villeneuve jumps from its tent and says "First you… then all of the Reach!"

  9. This would be my IDEAL LIFESTYLE and ideal guy … that these things should come together blew me away …… I have spent my LIFE not being impressed by what guys value or how they behave … but this individual – I could respect and give my freedom up for  / share my freedom with –  he and his life style made my heart skip a beat !!

  10. 30 below?  you risk breaking all your clothes if the temperature is below 0 degrees – particularly woolens. they quickly freeze and when you move them, it breaks their fibers.

  11. I can understand wanting to live this type of life but it is my understanding that Glenn took off for Alaska to escape his responsibilities. I had read that he owed money for support & has cut off all contact from his family. While it's possible that what I've read may not be entirely true however I would truly disrespect Glenn if he left for all the wrong reasons. I do still enjoy watching this show.

  12. Its pretty easy to live out in the wild when you've just paid a visit to your local DIY store. How about stripping this idiot and dropping him a 1,000 miles from nowhere, then pay him a visit a month later and see if his smile is still in place?
I fucking hate these gobshite extrovert losers. He couldn't live as a REAL nature purist for 2 days…

  13. Interesting bow drill technique, haven't seen that one before. Less to carry around and it makes sense. Can't wait for the new season
