titus have you ever tryed autohotkey?
one of the hotkeys I use all the time is
CTRL+left/right arrows (moves the cursor by whole words)
CTRL+Backspace (delete the last word)
CTRL+Shift+left/right (select by whole words)
I can efficiently use these in the middle of typing and it stops you from getting tired hands from spamming keys when you could just use the hotkeys.
Alt Left and Right I didn't know about but my mouse has side buttons which do the same thing, goes forward and backwards, so if you have mouse buttons on the side of your mouse you can use them when browsing the web 🙂
Thank you
Windows D is the best one
Right clicking the taskbar gets the task manager too. And right clicking the start button gives you device manager among other things. This is a great video BTW
is there any hotkey to create a txt?
I'm working as a Customer Support agent. As you can guess, we have a damn lot of emails to answer to on a daily basis. CTRL + C/V, SHIFT + CTRL + V as well BUT the best of them is WINDOWS + V. Windows 10's clipboard addition back in 2019, really neat one if you ask me !
i pressed alt+back while i was watching your video.
"Windows + E"
Nah, I'll stick to quick launch.
Just going through comments to get NewHot Keys
HAd already been Hot keys for past couple of Years now..
But thanks for making this video.
Win+Pause/Break. Used to take you straight to Device Manager. Now it takes you to aa UI with lots of system options but if you scroll down on the right, Device Manager is there.
when you select a file with F2 you can rename it as you say and also if you need with ALT+1 you can view that or all of the selected files properities instead of right clicking and selecting it. Alt+2 also creates a new folder.
ctrl+shift+esc is way more unconvenient because all keys lay on the left side. ctrl+alt+del is the way to go for me
2:37 Men this one doesnt work X"D i blame my chiness Keyboard drivers x"D Good thing it has macros so i can just Win +r taskmgr enter.
For example
WIN+X hidden secret menu, if you click now U, you get power and logout shortcuts, R for restart, U to shut down, H to hibernate, S to sleep ðŸ˜
Also WIN + +/- to use zoom function ðŸ˜
Windows + L instead of ctrl+alt+del+enter
“Lock it up when you walk away or get written upâ€

the only one I never heard of is the 11th
CTRL+SHIFT+N = new folder
So, where is the hot key that will make my PC work properly again after a windows update screws everything up?
CTRL+X = cut (files or words)
windows XP = ctl+alt+del to directly go to task manager.
most important one is ctrl + w, closs your browser tab whitout having to click on the small cross / closes explorer
the only one that dont work for is the F2 for rename, anyone knows why?
Your last Bonus command blew my mind! Seriously awesome! Thanks!
Thank you so much for the CTRL SHIFT V. I've been pasting it into notepad and recopying for years now to remove formating LOL
<WIN KEY> + <SHIFT> + <S> to screen clip (pastes selected area to clipboard)
Woohoo, I use all of these! Alt + D to navigate to the address bar in a browser of File Explorer. Win + T to highlight the Task Bar and Win + B to highlight the System Tray. Win + A to open the Action Center. Win + Shift + S to take a snippet or screenshot. Ctrl + Backspace to delete a whole world. Double click to select a word and triple click to select a whole sentence.
Windows + left arrow then up arrow tiles window in the top left corner. Same for other corners with corresponding arrows
Pressing some of these hotkeys too often AFAIK is harmful for your wrists. So your best friend, if you're a power Windows user (yeah, it's not a joke), is AutoHotkey. It's a very powerful, fast and very easy to use scripting language. Making things like hotkeys and automation with it is a breeze. I really wish we had something that powerful and versatile on Unix.
Another essential hotkey (in chrome but maybe also other browsers) for me is CTRL+SHIFT+T to reopen the most recently closed tab.
The best shortcut I have found is not to use Windows in the first place.
Hi Chris here one I use quite a bit. If I need to jot something down i usually open a text file. In an empty area in a folder "right click once" then type W and T quickly afterwards this will create a text file on the fly.
Holy cow.. windows+down and windows+shift+esc..Bing! instant 👠Thanks Chris
