In this video I bring you along as I swap out the rear wheel bearing on a customers 2012 Toyota Tundra 4×4 with the big 5.7. It’s not a bad job but does require some special tools for pressing the bearing on and off.
-Enjoy!

Christmas? It's almost March man! Well, somehow this one got lost in the mix and I never put it out but apparently I recorded it Christmas eve of 2022 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™‚ Better late than never I guess.
-Enjoy!
Why didn't you change the housing seal?
Happy the miss checks on you to keep you happy ^_^ Makes the video's better also.
Why tf is dude clamping a brake hose and calling a Toyota crap cause a 180k mile wheel bearing went 😂 must not understand how “soft†brake lines are made
Me: into bolts: 4:14 nice…
I have a Toyota Tundra and I really like it.
Mr. O my wheel key stays in my center console where it is easily seen.
If I get the complete wheel bearing assembly already pressed and greased will I still need to compress them together?
Hey people of Punka shitty….. Lmk when u would like to sign up to put your everything out there on blast and have the town u were born and raised in and almost everyone u know be in cahoots against you and just treat you like ur crazy AF and they have no idea what ur talking about…… No confirmation from anyone who loves you supposedly for how long has it been now??? I cancelled my cable bc I watch this channel more than anything else. Absolutely one of the smartest coolest dudes in the automotive industry.
Tools Tools Tools Love those tools , Cant get nothing done without; TOOLS TOOLS TOOLS! Another Jerry Lewis song (Beans Beans Beans) when he played the Navy's cook. My wife finally one day came out to check on me, and made a comment, wow, you really can't do much without "TOOLS"! Gee, I love her. Yeppers bab, without the right tool we couldn't have had 3 awesome kids! TOOLS TOOLS TOOLS what could we do without "TOOLS"!! Love your video's, nothing never changes, well, except the color of our hair!!!!
Eric do you have a link for those nitrile gloves with the grippy bumps?
Ass
Just curious as to why you didn’t also replace the axle seal?
Move to Nevada!!!
You just took the temper hardness out out of that axle with a torch. Watching you work, I wouldn't let you flush my toilet
Found this video just in time, my gen3 Tundra is making the scraping sound when turning left and this is in my future. I have a press, just need the tool. My previous gen1 went more then 200k on original bearings. Not amused but it looks doable for my shade tree skills…..
Thanks for that. Not worried about breathing all that brake cleaner?
Why have I never though of just putting a catch pan on the damn floor? 😆😆😆
Really enjoyed it ,yeah that diff oil can really stink , lol ,you guys enjoy your time off, thank you.
no reason to cut of retainer, press it off with the bearing.
Helpful to us at LBSS auto tech program Fairfax County Public Schools auto tech program. We are doing a tundra rear backing plates rusted out.
Thanks for another great video Eric.
I love it when Eric trolls 🤓
Fun to watch you repair the Toyota. You did a great job
Reminds Me Of putting Rear Wheel Bearings On Old Ford Trucks
Wow! What a PIA compared to my F150! Nice work with the smoke wrench EO!
minus 32 here in alberta and wind chill minus 37….this Catt dont like to go outside…..lol..
Do me a fav will ya Eric? When you’re using the press wear some eye protection. Set a good example for us one-eyed dummies that don’t…
Love how your keeping brake kleen in business Sir! 😂😂😂
You are my brother from another mother! Great video man
Thank you â¤
The phrase of Stealership is real. I picked up a OEM part for my sisters 07 Rav4(shipped for Japan) for 300 dollars less than what the dealership wanted. I did have to wait a week to get it. So if I can you can is right on the money.
My car is immaculate and whenever I have any repairs I leave the wheel lock in the Acura bag it came in, in my cup holder. Same thing goes for my Lexus.
Looks like you forgot the conical washer that goes between the bearing and retainer before you pressed it together!
