Oh yeah I love modified stuff but it definitely will eat your lunch time wise!
Nice to see it on the road
Nice job on that '59.
New subscriber here and just watched all vids on 59 restoration. In one of the last few vids I noticed in the background what appeared to be a tool box covering the winch, was the fabrication of the winch storage ever covered? if so, in which vid, I missed it somehow.
like your style mustie! great mechanic with creativity! please use cuppergrease while mounting and vacuumcleaner while cleaning, it make sense for the next time and keeps the air clean. Greeting & success!
a long time ago I used to do a lot of work on this old vw s I think it's wonderful that old bus giving a new life the way you do it.keep up the good work and please make more videos like that 🙂

A nice solution, a bug pipe that has something within….gives you the nice VW burble…:)

Took me a couple days, but I also binge watched the entire series. Awesome truck! You do great work. Thanks for sharing.
Great series. I binged watched the whole thing. Had and sold a 57 SC. Too many freeways in Southern California and everyone wants to go 80 miles an hour! Thanks for sharing this.
Sweet as a nut! Really enjoyed watching you working on this project. Thanks!
parabens sua kombi ficou muito bacana
Looking forward to more videos on this project. It has definitely reignited a dream to restore an old VW for myself. Thanks =)
i watched the entire series of this build. Â i think it is great. Â i did the same thing on a 67 single cab 3 yrs ago on a much smaller scale. Â very informative. Â love the truck! Â enjoy the miles and smiles
Thanks I real loved the restore great job I started to like the finish after watching for awhile. Enjoy it
running great
Fantastic! Thank you for a great tube. Your project has inspired me to start looking around for another bus of my own after going 20 years without. Also, the wax ring patina preservation system is very cool!Â
For long trips and just buzzing around I like them quite too.
it sounds great and looks good
always enjoy the vids Thanks for putting them up!
Mustie1, Amazing how changing that little pipe gives the exhaust that VW chirp back.
Excellent job and I really enjoy your stuff. I was never much of a VW fan but got to admit that you've inspired me and got me to check out all of the other VW bus resto's on youtube. Dunno if it's been said before, but have you thought about using a GoPro? Â that would give you both hands free all the time.Â
Looks like yer having fun!
Love the road trip.. Â
Lookin' mighty fine!
What is that thing on your bumper next to your bumper sticker, it looks like something we put out for ants. haha. don't know much about vw.Â
Single cab sounds great you did an outstanding job of saving itÂ
Sounds good.
That exhaust looks very restrictive, but if your happy with it that's all that matters…
I agree, the VW chirp makes it much more authentic. That set up is similar to the European VW I had with a 1303 engine; the Beetle I owned had the muffler with a single outlet like the bus but it came out of the muffler more toward the center. Wish I still had that car!
So rad, I should makes vids on my 54 oval. But just takes so much time and my build takes all of it. Arrgghhh.
Sweet, and very informative the last few vids. Thanks!
You can't have a VW without that VW sound.
Very cool.
Sounds and runs great and as always, imaginative problem solving.
It's a cruiser for sure sound's smooth you would think it would have more rattling going on with all the door's/gate's.
VW TIP IS THE WAY TO GO. SOUNDS GOOD NOW..FINS UP..
You were ripping sir!
sounds great, the orig ping sound is more suiting
I am so tickled the way you hand crafter this truck! I love it Larry.
