  1. Thank you, sir, for the collar adjustment tip @2:43
Able to DIY this job in less than 3 hours. Spend more time fighting the belt and dropping wrenches than removing and installing.

  2. Usually I take the ecm out as it gives ya enough space without having to remove the motor mount bolt that can be gods bane to break free from rust and then smacking something that’s brittle. All things considered it’s easy to remove and makes the ac job SOOOO much easier

  3. @ErictTheCarGuy, seems someone on you FB account is posting s New Hampshire number wanting me and others to call, I suspect it is spam or you account has been hacked. -Charlie.

  4. Yup, the ahop broke the wire to the AC plug and they half assed taped it together. Guess what, it broke. The lady didn't have AC for a while. I fixed it correctly while replacingnthe radiator on the van, I had good access. Before anyone says it. She didn't know it was broken until 6 months later when the summer heat started.

  5. Interesting timing. I just replaced the alternator in my 1996 Dodge Neon on Wednesday. In that instance I went from below, and the worst part was backing off the tensioner adjustment bolt to remove the belt– in my case the tensioner bolt was in a fairly inaccessible spot behind the alternator splash shield and I could only turn the ratchet 1/8th of a turn at a time. Took forever to release enough tension to get the belt off, I thought something was wrong after the 100th turn….
Glad to see these vids, hope all is well and that we get more soon Eric!
