This Twin Turbo Genesis G90 ran through the auction for over a month. The selling dealer claimed it had a bad engine problem, and it needed an entire new engine. I took a gamble at a 50% discount and got super lucky…

Need more spam flogging junk completely unrelated to cars.
We have a Genesis G80 2015 model , just completed 400,000 km ODO. Nothing done to it except oil , brake pads changed , belts and spark plugs.
A German engineer was on the engine design team.
Who designed this lmao
BUT is it Salvage ?!?!
Hey @samcrac I have a 2010 2.0 t hyundai genesis coupe I think with a blown head gasket. It has exhaust adjustable coilovers and some other stuff. I'm in tampa and need to get rid of it so I can another car. It has a 100% clean title. If you'd like to see it contact me through my page. I'll let it go cheap.
Watching you work with one hand is frustrating
This vid stands next to Gone With the Wind, Lawrence of Arabia, and other cinematic greats. Holy cow man, I can't believe you just go at this job with a hand wrench and a bit of know-how. Funny as hell, so informative, I really enjoyed watching this, thank you for putting to together.
Ever hear of a vacuum?
That sand that fell into the lower intake manifold when you pulled the foam away after removing the upper intake manifold. OOOF.
That’s funny you said that I went one time only
Genisis is always frowned upon. They are honestly great cars, I would say it's the "Lincoln" of Asisn cars. I would rather have this over a modern Lincoln, or any German luxury car. Parts are going to be cheaper, and they're generally easy to up keep.
Engineers do this on purpose because they’re jews
If I give you $10,000 can you get me a car, make a video out of it (to obtain a bunch of monetized funds) and then give me the car?
Considering KIA a budget car is making a trap for yourself. It sucks out cash almost as good as a BMW.
1st: what a stupid location for a simple sensor! 2nd: Opps!!! When he removed the foam around the intake a bunch of sand and dust fell into the intake holes!!!! NOT GOOD!!! When he says “even if there’s more stuff…†and the close up, you can see the sand and dust that fell into the 2 intakes… good lord man!!! Also he should have vacuumed away all the grit and dirt upon each step of disassemble….
8:35 why the heck so many zip ties inside an engine??? Korean cars so cheap made
$8 part, $2500 in labor
A shade tree mechanic would just cut the wire
put some respect on the lexus name.. would never buy a Hyundai
Van Tay Gar …. aka …. Van Targe. …. like advantage …. American English has some funny ones!
I've been driving a 2010 Opel Antara with 3.2 V6 GM engine for around 100K km lately and replacing this type of pressure sensor has become a habit for the last several years. The genuine GM sensor lasts less than one year or 10K km, while the Chinese replacement can last up to 3 years. But the location is good – right next to the oil filter, so I just replace it every second time I have engine oil and oil filter changed xD
You know there wrenches with gears in them do you don't have to twist the wrench all day
The guy who used to design for Bentley works for Genesis now
Their suv is almost a spot on match
A, Looks more like an Eqquis than a Genesis.
B. sounds like the top end needs better lube.
15:24 g90 /eqquis is a s.Classs/Lexus LS fighter at a bargin.
All that road grime falling into the intake is not good, bud! Sand and grit will destroy that entire engine.
How do u get cars without a dealer license
what auction do u buy from
I wish you could fix my car
Had. 19 G70 started blowing our rear diffs at 60k by 82k it had gone through 7 of them.
How about a ratchet wrench
500 dollars and still my Ford is not fixed, has always a new shitty problem every month 😅
The first lie I have heard you tell was in this video.. the lie is… that you actually train with trainwell… lol
Good on ya. 💯
I own a 2017 G90 Ultimate (5.0) and it has been amazing car. I have had no issues with the car for the time I had it. Look forward to driving mine everyday. And 100% agree that if people are looking for a high end luxury car they should really check out Genesis.
Won't it fail smog with a bad sensor?
most of the parts on that car are from a junkyard. all the parts with marker on them are from the junkyard
