If there is one thing I miss about using Google Chrome on my Android tablet, it’s my extensions! Google is working on an Android build of Chrome to get extensions working, but we might not see it officially released. However, with Chromium, we have solved the issue!

  1. They killed Google Chrome, it's a mess right now, it lags a lot from time to time (even on flagship devices), it's riddled with ads everywhere and they don't have an ad blocker. It sometimes freezes from preloading too many things in the background, which demonstrates its poor management and optimization. I think everything has gotten worse since they started allowing so many ads. It's definitely annoying to browse, not even 1 minute in, and then another ad ruins the browsing experience. Sometimes for things you don't want to see.
I think they made a bad decision out of greed to want to make money from ads, but that's causing them to kill Chrome without realizing it in the long run.
I switched to Microsoft Edge on Android and the experience is like night and day, as they say. It beats it in every way.

  2. I'm using the latest build on my Z Fold 5 and it works beautifully. AdGuard extension installed straight from the Chrome Store and running without issue. This is what Chrome on Android should be.
