If there is one thing I miss about using Google Chrome on my Android tablet, it’s my extensions! Google is working on an Android build of Chrome to get extensions working, but we might not see it officially released. However, with Chromium, we have solved the issue!

Hi All! For those asking the tablet I'm using in the video is the Honor Magic Pad 2! It's OLED & it's great!
Bro how can't to add puzzle to used extention
They killed Google Chrome, it's a mess right now, it lags a lot from time to time (even on flagship devices), it's riddled with ads everywhere and they don't have an ad blocker. It sometimes freezes from preloading too many things in the background, which demonstrates its poor management and optimization. I think everything has gotten worse since they started allowing so many ads. It's definitely annoying to browse, not even 1 minute in, and then another ad ruins the browsing experience. Sometimes for things you don't want to see.
I think they made a bad decision out of greed to want to make money from ads, but that's causing them to kill Chrome without realizing it in the long run.
I switched to Microsoft Edge on Android and the experience is like night and day, as they say. It beats it in every way.
Thanks 😊 meaningfully share
its bloody ridiculous they do not offer this
It doesn't work on my Galaxy Tab 6. "The chrome web store is only available on desktop" – Rubbish!
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
ok
it doesn't work.
Paul, is Chromium a memory hog like Chrome used to be? I stopped using Chrome for that reason.
use microsoft edge canary
That’s Google’s problem, not ours.
Doesn't work on my Pixel 9. Chromium detects that it's not on a desktop pc so I can't access the chrome web store.
Mises Browser is mobile chromium with extension support that works with Web Store.
AIRPM for Chatgpt chrome extension is superb.
When I first run Chromium, it asks me to login. But it won't allow me to use an account, ie my google account, as the account already exists on my phone.
I'm watching this in Lemur Browser. Just wanted to let ya know.
Galaxy S23+ (at time of writing.)
Extensions in Android would be for mobile browsers like Kiwi or Lemur. That's how I use them with Chrome as my main browser.
Where do you get chromium?
Chromium stable or beta or dev?
Why do people still use Chrome? It doesn't rank well for privacy.
I'm using the latest build on my Z Fold 5 and it works beautifully. AdGuard extension installed straight from the Chrome Store and running without issue. This is what Chrome on Android should be.
Other excelent browsers out there try it people
They won't. Android is a 3 billion device market. They don't wanna lose the ad revenue
Kiwi Browser has done this for many years. Based on Chrome desktop browsers, but made for Android.
I mainly use my tablet for planning/booking trips and watching media
I just cannot use Chrome, the web unusable without ad blockers
Man! The Honor Magic Pad 2 looks gorgeous.
