While Adam is gone for the week in Japan for Matsuri, I decided to film a “shop week” style video covering all the LZ Compound shenanigans. I hope you enjoy! -Mike

  1. 14:54 … TIG welding is my career, I want to help you some since you said you're newer to what you're doing. (Please dont take this as hate, like most people who will comment) 1st, you have way too much tungsten sticking out of the cup. Pull that back in about 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch, maybe a little more. 2nd, add more filler rod to the puddle. Those two things will cool your weld down and flow better. The only time you need to have stick out like that is for hard to reach inside corners or going in-between parts, something along those lines. You want to take advantage of all that gas and the big cup by having the cup really close to the weld, so as you move along, there is a big gas covered area on both sides of the weld puddle. With adding more filler, you are looking for the puddle to raise just slightly. That lets you know you put more metal in than you melted away, which makes the weld convex, not concave and stronger. Lastly, make sure your Argon CFH is set for that big cup. Most likely, you will need 30-45 CFH to get the best stable arc and gas flow. I have more tips and tricks if you wanted them. Let me know 14:54

  2. Not trying to creat drama, I don't usually come to the comment section but I have a question. Is Johan still with Adam as I do not recall seeing him lately?

  3. so weird to think i found this channel as a kid learning to ride bmx, over a decade later and i'm still watching all the same but for a completely different reason.
