Just thinking about your YouTube channel. I know you said you were having a hard time with the content you show, well… I have seen where you said about working on clocks. I think you could add videos about clock repair. I don’t get bored with your channel, my wife and I live on a 72 acre farm, (her ancestry 7th generation) and all we do is raise 21 sheep and plant flower/vegetable gardens. We love the peace and quiet that we have. I also can’t get over your knowledge of tractors. It amazes me! Keep up the inspiring content, we so enjoy it!
Look good in more ways than one …. And I mean it. LOL 😂😂😂😂😂
Don't u ever keep the animals that mean a lot 2 u?.
thx
Thanks for the tour through the woods. That made me think… you are standing among sons-a-beeches of those that you harvested as a youth. Watch your back!
Do you do any hunting in those woods?
â¤Blessings and Blessings and Blessings to you and Thankyou so very much.
â¤ðŸŽ‰Absolutely 💯 Beautiful.
Blessings and blessings to you and Thankyou so very much for your sharing and wisdom
I know where you can get some seedlings of beech, Nearly native nursery!
Upstate NY has the best fall trees.
What on your farm makes the most money for y’all?
Those trees are gorgeous! I love fall most of all. Those type trees don’t grow in my area but I enjoyed learning. I know your land and animals and the farm mean a lot to you and it’s so evident and I really appreciate that. I would love to live on a farm work and all. I’m so jealous! Lol maybe one day I will. That’s what I’m looking for…a nice gentle farmer. I’m ready to move on with my life. My husband of 39 years died four years ago from brain cancer. He wanted nothing but my happiness. I know it will be hard to find bc he’s a tough act to follow. But a farmer would be nice. I would love to find someone who needs a good woman to cook and work along with him. Maybe God will send one my way. That’s what I’m praying for
It is amazing, or maybe not, how many people are crazy about chicken livers.
I love the way patty cries lol
If you still have that SD card that went bad you can send it into companies that specialize in data recovery and they might be able to recover the files. I have no idea what they charge but its an option.
You're a really hard working guy. Love watching you
Poor boys, such a short life! Well, tomorrow is another day for some!
On a older video I asked about the JaFAF hat that you were wearing but you never replied. I'm glad that their now available for purchase. God Bless You and Your Family.
You can eat and make tea with those Sumac berries. They have a tart, citrus kinda taste.
Good morning, Pete. I enjoy how you take your time and explain your thought process in terms of taking care of your farm, not only for yourself, but also your family. I understand getting a new boar for genetic diversity, but could you explain why getting seven feeder pigs and not consider keeping one or two female piglets from the two sows? The only thing I can think of is that you're not satisfied with the food to meat rations and are looking for more options. I enjoy learning from you.
Love your videos Pete! You have a beautiful farm.
Love your attitude Pete. You make me want to trade in the fast paced job for farm life.
I am new to your channel. I really love the discussion about your forest management techniques…
Hi Pete. We love your channel and have been following you for a bit. I wanted to comment to say I just used Wondershare's Recoverit on a 10 year old corrupted hard drive that a local computer service company wasn't able to fix back in the day. I thought all my pics were lost but the software is able to recover everything. I just downloaded and ran it this last weekend. It works on sd cards also. Might be worth checking out. Ik you put a lot of work into you farm and filming is yet another job! 🙂 Thanks for all the great info and entertainment you provided!
I am jealous of all your leaves. Ohhhhh the compost I could make ! : )
you've never shown us the interior mall, so what goes/
As a wood burner (with 4 1/2 acres of woods on property) I try to sustainably manage. More of these forest videos please!
Bass wood is a good carving
Stew hens not something I have tried but in france they have coc uv van ( sorry for spelling) it's a old hen cooked in a bottle of wine all day and eaten it was there way of dealing with the spares. Or often the extra roster. In Ireland it's all chicken. Eat them young. When goats would be eaten as early as 3 to 4 weeks as the milk was need for the humans to live. My grandmother lived trought the famine. To this day I hate to leave food on a plate nothing wrong with asking for more but don't waist food.
Love your channel. Thank you.
I was always curious how you keep your fowl in their fences! Do you clip their wings or do they just stay in their enclosures themselves? Sorry if this question has been asked before! Love your channel!
I was watching what's my line on Youtube and they had a guy on their who was a Cow Dentist. Do your cows get dental work? apparantly it's harder later in life to chew the grass or something.
Love your videos. Im such a sissy though, I wouldn’t be able to get rid of any of the animals. ðŸ˜
Thanks for another great video, Pete. Stay warm!
I retired from NASA HQ in Washington, D.C. two years ago and moved to my ancestral farm (~ 300 acres). I now have 50 South Poll cattle and 20 Katahdin sheep. It’s been baptism by fire to say the least. Pete’s videos always seem to be just-in-time education for me. Please keep up the great, practical content ðŸ‘
I’ve always wondered how you load and unload your freezers. Seems it would be tough to do by yourself. Just wondered!
Seeing your segment on woods which I found very interesting. Wondering if there are any encounters with snakes in that area? Just being curious.
Novice here with no chickens ( or any farm animals), but love watching your channel. Question, how do you get the chickens into the house each evening? They are so happy to come out in the morning it seems.
Another thing Pete I want to farm full time I hate my job I want to buy a farm and farm full time I have years of farming work with chicken cows how can I do it I am miserable Evey day because this is what I want to do and love please let me know if it's possible or any suggestions thank you pete
Hey Pete do you put lights in your layer house in the winter my layer seem to stop on me they are malting but didn't know if a light would help
Can you help me
Hi sir
Always nice to visit your site, I need a break from this political atmosphere.
Thanks
Thank you & God bless.
Hello.. What a channel.. A real channel for people to be inspired
to do the same. Watch as I can. It is like living in Oz.
All three are roll into one, heart, brain, courage. Thanks
Awesome video, I wish you were my neighbor!
Pretty soon, the rocks you toss are gonna cover up that whole nice copse of trees and you won’t be able to find it! Then, you can start a downhill ski resort for a bit of extra winter income…😜
What kind of sumac is that??Is it the poison kind??
Ordin is an unusual name. Where did name come from?
