Simply Amazing

Today is a beautiful day, and Hilarie & I are out around the farm taking care of the animals. What we see is simply amazing…

-We do not offer farm tours or accept visitors
-We do not sell from the farm
-We do not ship our farm’s products

  1. Sean is really really bad right now but I really want you really want me right now but I’m really really bad bad enough to end up 🆙 I’m just now I’m going to bed right right next right right to my house right right next to door to end 😮😮

  2. My favorite moment was when Titus trotted up to you for a greeting and back scratch before turning into that inviting field of delicious grazing. Not something that would happen, or be safe, with most breeds or with cattle raised without hands-on kindness every day.

“I’m proud to say that I am the seventh generation of my family to throw rocks into these woods.” Amazing to live such a life surrounded by deep family memories. Thank you for sharing this.

  3. Building a wall is definitely a skill, just like digging a hole. My dad was a builder and he taught me to dig a hole. To this day it amazes me how few people can dig properly. I was bogged with a bunch of guys planting pine trees in the mountains once and not one could dig the wheel out, so I took the shovel and showed them how. Someone there is that loves a wall . . .

  4. My son and I appreciate you and your family and what you share with us! You are absolutely right about the simplicity and complexity of farming and what it has to offer. Thank you for sharing and inspiring all that watch and keep producing this amazing content of what is real in this world!! You guys are an inspiration to what is real!! Thank you!

  5. Your cattle all look so healthy. I have seen some that look just awful. Skinny and their coats are not shinny. Your all look just beautiful and they are happy!

  6. Hi Pete, my husband has been hooked on your videos! Same jokes between my husband and 14 yr old Grandson that you tell. I just love it. And the positive way of life is comforting in an all too often crowded busy world out here in Southern California. Blessings to you and Hilary , and your beautiful family. Wish we could go shopping at the farmers market out there. The stuff you cook looks great. The natural food you grow and sell would be great to feed my family.

  7. Pete great show. I understand you can’t show us the butchering of chickens and turkeys. Could provide a overview of the process and equipment. As a kid and young adult we did a lot of butchering, the rubber finger plucking machine was a good addition.

  8. Pete!!!!
Some lenghty observations……..that lead to some not-a-farmer questions…….
    a) I noticed the new listing of JAFAF merchandise! Thank you very much…….I will notify Santa's little helpers on where to find the website.
    b) YOU may think I'm crazy………but you know those fossil rocks you keep throwing into the woods?
I bet you a dollar to a donut, that if you put those throw away rocks on your website, say for $2.00-$5.00 per rock (+ shipping)…….you'd be digging into your ancestor's hedge fences to keep up with demand!
(That venture could be easily accomplished when someone was trying to while a way the cold, long winter hour$.)
I know one guy from PA who would gladly buy (and proudly display) a rock from JAFAF!…..
(And what avid JAFAF viewer wouldn't want a authentic JAFAF rock in their stocking on Christmas morning!!!
Think of it like this…….every little rock you throw into the woods = throwing $2.00 +S/H…….every large rock = throwing $5.00 +S/H.
Remember…….."If you build it Ray, they will come…….they will definitely come!"
    c) Cattle Rustlers!!
Not Walter Brennan & the Clanton gang……but modern day rustlers that would "dare steal a steer" (try saying that 10 times fast!)…… on a moon-less dark night…….
If push came to shove…….How would you identify your steers from Walter Brennan's great, great grandson's? Inner lip tattoos? DNA testing log? Branding?
Please keep up the "Good work".
    Rich from PA
