Dan contacted me on this 20 year old riding mower cub cadet, he gave it his best try but the problems were too many, so he gave it to us to sort out, lets see what it will take to bring it back to life.

  1. The horses are whispering, bring carrots, and apples next time he's starving us for goodies.

Speaking of one of my dogs loves carrots thinks he's a horse.

  2. Did most of the same stuff to a throw away LTX1050. A little work and a little money. I've been mowing with it now for 3 years. Amazing what can happen when you DON'T give up and throw stuff away. The guy keeps asking if he can have it back! What a joke! Great job buddy.

  3. My dad's new cub sheared the fly wheel key repaired it no more problems afterwards. I bought a cub new no problems and it cuts great . My son bought a cub used I rebuilt the motor and it sheared the key . I found out before putting a new key in wipe the top of the crack with carb cleaner and it won't slip running fine now.

  4. To bad John Deere are really junk also these days. Sending there business to China. It won’t be long till they are back in the USA or they will be out of business. Tariffs will make them unaffordable.

  5. Hey when I pulled mine down I had to drill a hole on each side of the pulley and use a user puller to pull it off that was the only way I could get it off mess up my new puller pulling it off too
