Dan contacted me on this 20 year old riding mower cub cadet, he gave it his best try but the problems were too many, so he gave it to us to sort out, lets see what it will take to bring it back to life.

What’s a PTO ?
Dude, those pullies are Crap, at least 1 spindle
( shaft?) I give it a nope.
Choke is already full out
Too late now (2 years later) But your patch needs a drain hole for water. Great work on that patch work, though! Keep it simple.
The horses are whispering, bring carrots, and apples next time he's starving us for goodies.
Speaking of one of my dogs loves carrots thinks he's a horse.
i think cub cadet is better than john deer
red green yah
I have to pull the deck clutch, looks like it's gonna be fun. Belt gave up the ghost.
Did most of the same stuff to a throw away LTX1050. A little work and a little money. I've been mowing with it now for 3 years. Amazing what can happen when you DON'T give up and throw stuff away. The guy keeps asking if he can have it back! What a joke! Great job buddy.
Need courage to own a courage 🫤😵â€ðŸ’«ðŸ˜Ž
lol! purrs like a kitten.
Red Green.
The key is definitely the weak spot in the Kohler motor in the cubs .
My dad's new cub sheared the fly wheel key repaired it no more problems afterwards. I bought a cub new no problems and it cuts great . My son bought a cub used I rebuilt the motor and it sheared the key . I found out before putting a new key in wipe the top of the crack with carb cleaner and it won't slip running fine now.
Super job, well done.
To bad John Deere are really junk also these days. Sending there business to China. It won’t be long till they are back in the USA or they will be out of business. Tariffs will make them unaffordable.
Dan’s rough on tractors…just sayin’
Hey when I pulled mine down I had to drill a hole on each side of the pulley and use a user puller to pull it off that was the only way I could get it off mess up my new puller pulling it off too
I like that you’ll call them tractor and down south we call them riding mower because we have big real Tractors 😮
Buy a new pully!!!
Need to polish the crank end where the key is. Not sand but polish slash clean up. That is a tapered fit, crank end to flywheel.
