In this video I have a look at a customers 2019 Ford F-250 that has a list of complaints. No power windows, locks, radio or heater controls. The dealer that sold the truck to him made a call on the BCM, charged him $900 and its now has more lights on than it came in with. Now the Air Bag and TPMS light are on along with the original problem. Let’s have a look.
-Enjoy!

Ran over a stick in the woods, and had a similar problem. I knew when and where it happened though, so EZ fix.
Good work.
Gosh, this felt like Indiana Jones..and I enjoyed it more😂
I have watched many of your videos, you are very methodical. I think inexperienced people start to take things apart, order parts and keep guessing. You have a great amount of experience which takes you so much farther. Well done.
Great job Eric. I am learning. I am guessing the wiring back near the bumper got knocked off it’s location maybe by the spare tire coming down, then he used a floor jack to lift the rear at the bumper and the wiring got pinched between the jack and the bumper?
This was a good video, rear harness looking burned is simply beat to ratchet from stones pounding down gravel roads.
What itches my brain is why the hell it affects things within the cab?
My guess is that being this is a farm truck, someone wrapped a chain around that part of the frame and used the truck to pull something on the farm. The chain damaged the wiring.
Great video. I love how you figure out problems that would make me wanna run and hide.
If he's a farmer he probably sunk it in mud and pinched it on a rock or he could've kicked up a broken cattle grate coming out the pasture and smacked it lol maybe who knows
I'm lucky to be able to work my phone let alone all the scan tools that you use. I would at least give it a try instead of taking it somewhere that just want to fix it quick and get it out the door. I had an s-10 one time that I couldn't get the slave valve bled and that was it. After 3 months of waiting for them to do anything I went to get it fixed or not and I guess it bled itself and I left. Won't be going back there or anywhere else if I don't have to. You would do very well around here because there isn't a half way decent mechanic for miles.
This is video should be on the SMA Greatest Hits Compilation Album. One of his best for sure.
That educated guess is the key! Not following all those "rabbit holes" is another! Some mechanics just seem to throw parts at them and hope something sticks! A visual inspection and knowing what to look for helps a lot too!
My guy really went under there & got showered with premium Moo-Poo.
10:36 glad to know I’m not the only one that prints out the whole book and tapes it together! 😂

Your comment is the best thing I have seen today. I had a really shitty day today, then I see something like what you wrote, to keep me going.
This truck is not built for a farm. This truck has obviously been heavily used.
I don't like taking a car to be worked on that isn't clean inside and out. It shows a lack of respect and you can't expect someone to give it 110% if the car is filthy.
Ford tech here, its always the can wires in the back by the trailer hitch for the proximity tail lights if its not equipped with them they loop it around and the plugged corrodes and no A/C controls or window control, its a no brainer.
SMA needs a logo that says Wire Whisperers Are Us! Eric RULES!
Beautiful analysis. Thanks so much!
Other shop apparently wrote "FICM". That's only found on diesel engines. If that's what they wrote, I'd question everything they did. Too many shops prefer the parts cannon over actual diagnosis.
Love your work keep up it..
XLT=extra large turd.
about that $hit covered farm truck, I got two words for you, "WATER HOSE"
Stupendous repair! Ford makes a staggering product. Caught out the other shop too

A true Renaissance man Mr O…I don't want to get too much down a rabbit trail…if its under 3 pounds of cow shit, well then we dig it out. SMA gold.
Looks like the harness was chewed on by a puppy
$200 labor rate on that invoice
So much for the Platinum warranty. I'd be getting my $900 back or some tires will be flat or windshields may come up busted.
Allegedly.
