  1. Couldn’t help but smile when that Suzuki engine fired up. I had a TS 250 that was about that vintage when l was in my 20’s. That oil/gas system worked very well. Great bike lots of fond memories riding that around in the summer.. 😊

  2. Hey there , just a heads up. Over here in New Zealand we have a lot of alloy boats and have learned a lot over the years. Foam should not be use as it will hold water and also prevent underfloor getting dry. Plywood should not be treated as it will react with the alloy and also absorb water. Alloy will corrode if left wet for long periods.

  3. This was the very first bike I EVER had. Its late 90's DS80 with oil injection….. TRASH TRASH TRASH….. fouled plugs like CRAZY. Didnt matter the jetting. My dad tore out the oil injection system and started mixing my gas like any other 2 stroke and MAN O MAN that bike woke up and ran! Such a better bike….. Overall it was still a pile of shit though, Next bike was a KX100 and it smoked this bike in every single way possible. Still I can recognize one of these from a mile away. I'm 36 now and riding has been my #1 passion in life for my entire life since I had this bike…. This was the bike that started it all for me. 25 years later and I still ride the trails with my dad, I still remember every little thing about this bike…. I will ride till I die. My dad paid $800 for it in Seattle Washington and piece of shit or not that's all it took to light the fire in me for the rest of my life. My dad is about to hit 70 and still has like 3-5 brand new street bikes in rotation at any given time. Its a disease that's passed on…… That's a fact!

  4. OMG What a mess. But best way to buy a cheap bike when the person knows nothing and uses a quick fix. I peronably would have offered only $50 just by looking at the outside condition. had the same with a bike I bought. noticed right away he new nothing of fixing or maintaining it, but just neede some TLC and got it for cheap. good video, and made me laugh, thanks
