The pigs and Doc the Dexter calf think this is all a game! I’ve got lots to do today and I start with watering and feeding the pigs. I take a break to talk about how much pigs eat, how much pigs drink, and how fast pigs grow. All this is important to raising profitable pigs! Then, Dad and I work on fabricating a loader attachment for the Farmall 656 tractor and its International 2000 loader. Dad’s an old hand at metal fabrication, and we make good progress. Finally, it’s time to feed the heifers and spend a little time with Doc the Dexter calf.
