in this video we get most of the wear items repaired and see how it drives on the ground, not shown yet but it still needed the correct ignition switch to get the ballast resistor working correctly, that will be on a future video,

5urs later mustie lets have a follow up on performance and additional foxes on 500. Dollars wonder😅😅😅
Excelente trabalho, a parte funcional ficou zerada, mas para ficar 100% faltou uma pintura.
You stole that machine , were you wearing a mask that day when you made that deal ?
It's called an inching valve
That era Yale was the best.
Do it right the first time! Do it RIGHT!!! Doesn’t take any longer to do it right… so they told me
To have a working forklift at your shop for less than$2,000, you can't beat that with a stick Right 🤣.
Thank you, I sincerely appreciate your content.
Shouldn't forklifts be supposed to beep when backing up & that's a nice forklift & if you need to pull out an engine out of a vehicle, you have the forklift 😊
You got a good deal!!! A little krylon spray paint to make the frame and Cawling look good, and no one would know it's an old machine😊
As far as cleaning steel..wd40 and simple green. And i use a flapper disc a lot. But yea, my go to combo is wd40 and finish off with Simple green.
Highly disappointed you didn't paint the wheels a strange colour like lime green… I would have.
Congratulations on your new acquisition, I’m always impressed with your diagnosis of problems, which begs the question, how come the people that had been called in by the previous owner couldn’t discover the issue, their loss is undoubtedly your gain ðŸ‘🙂
ðŸ‘ðŸºðŸ™
Great job getting a decent used lift and bringing it back, I have had a few and you really need to pay attention or your pockets will empty quickly buying parts. ðŸ‘ðŸ‘
When it comes to pricing for equipment like that including tractors and backhoes everything is way overpriced.
repairing that forklift amazing,i know mustie does it all the time i just find it incredible how he does it.
Good job!
Cool seeing you make the machine come back to life!
One question… did you ever let the previous owner know what the fix was… and what you now have for $1.5K? I bet he'll throw a serious wobbler to find out!!ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
That was a great deal. When you know how to repair it's saves so much with a small investment of money and time, this lift will work for years to come with basic maintenance. Good grab sir, I wish you well.
Haha
He payed 160 for the gas tank!!….it was 180!
I'm surprised this forklift doesn't have a third pedal. The third petal on ones I've used disconnects the drive motor so you could use the gas pedal to make the forks move faster. (Didn't need to keep popping in/out of neutral, just step on that extra pedal.)
