in this video we get most of the wear items repaired and see how it drives on the ground, not shown yet but it still needed the correct ignition switch to get the ballast resistor working correctly, that will be on a future video,

  1. As far as cleaning steel..wd40 and simple green. And i use a flapper disc a lot. But yea, my go to combo is wd40 and finish off with Simple green.

  2. Congratulations on your new acquisition, I’m always impressed with your diagnosis of problems, which begs the question, how come the people that had been called in by the previous owner couldn’t discover the issue, their loss is undoubtedly your gain 👍🙂

  3. Cool seeing you make the machine come back to life!
One question… did you ever let the previous owner know what the fix was… and what you now have for $1.5K? I bet he'll throw a serious wobbler to find out!!😁😁

  4. That was a great deal. When you know how to repair it's saves so much with a small investment of money and time, this lift will work for years to come with basic maintenance. Good grab sir, I wish you well.

  5. I'm surprised this forklift doesn't have a third pedal. The third petal on ones I've used disconnects the drive motor so you could use the gas pedal to make the forks move faster. (Didn't need to keep popping in/out of neutral, just step on that extra pedal.)
