1. I'm really into rocketry, so it was a bit funny to me to see a car with trouble getting started described as having a "hard start" problem. With rocket engines, a hard start is when your combustion chamber blows up on ignition. Usually it's because your ignition timing is wrong and too much of the propellants are injected into the chamber before ignition starts. You end up with a small explosion that's too strong to be contained and blow your engine/vehicle apart.

2. How much would a diagnostic fee be for something like that ???

6. One of the first things I was taught as a pup was how to properly re-pack wheel bearings with grease. This is a lost art, because we now live in a throw away- fill the landfill era. I keep saying: we are going backwards, people. Waaaay backwards. I can just imagine the WTF??? look on the faces of those in the future that dig up all our discarded crap. 😢

20. Eric, I had a similar situation with Dodge B350 Maxivans and the 360 TBI V-8. Everything checked fine but the engine would lay down when you hit 3rd gear it just wouldn’t pull. I ended up running a FP gauge under the engine cover and watching the pressure as I drove and sure enough first gear it was fine, second you could see the needle waver and at the top going into third it would start to drop down and that coincided with the laying over of the engine. A new fuel pump fixed the issue. And although it had the extended range fuel tank 30+ gallons, they were always kept full so the elec motors weren’t overheating.

44. Why does the O2 sensor going to a low voltage when you give it the beans mean that the engine is running lean ?

45. How can you tell if a wheel bearing is going bad? Noise? Vibrations? Thanks

46. I had one that the output of the fuel line inside the tank was cracked so most of the pressure was go back in the tank
