In this video I bring you along as I swap out the leaking plastic A/C lines on a 2017 Jeep Renegade. I swear these newer Fiat Jeeps are the biggest pieces of junk on the road today. The plastic is brittle and these things fail faster than you can fix them but hey, I guess that is kinda my job right? -Enjoy!

Hey man use a 7 or 8 mil socket press it over the inside of the clips. It depresses the clip and pull on the flare and it comes right out. I work on these piles every day at the Chrysler dealer
Please tell me that Mrs. O ⤠has a recently widowed twin sister who inherited a brewery. I'll make myself available
I'm 15 minutes in and I forgot what the repair was 😂.
Trinity looks so happy!
Ribs look amazing! Good jog guys
Jeep certainly loves to clip everything together…lol
"Suction & Discharge" is Jeep's (and Stellantis') unofficial slogan.
Personal note. Don't buy Jeep.
So, the replacement is also plastic.
I use a plastic tube and press on those green tabs to squash the legs, try it.
Jeep has really went downhill.
Fix it again Tony…. The quality of cars today is junk. Plastic everywhere. Like that is going to last 100K… NOT.. and don't bump it because you will be replacing everything all the way to the front doors…
WooWee Mrs. O is a great cooker, you’re a lucky man😊
You full time mechanics like to put everything back first but I
, as a diyer, like to test as I go along.
In UK all cars came withe steel wheels they were introduced when alloys came on the market as thieves would steal alloys it was an epidemic so they made locking nuts all cars had different locknuts hope this helps you understand why they have 1 locknut. hi from Scotland love your channel
What an absolute nightmare…..brings to mind the little fan that used to be mounted on the dash with the windows wide open………….
I HATE taking body panels apart. It’s so stress inducing. Engineers need to come up with a better way to disassemble.
When screws are stuck in plastic try putting a soldering iron on the head for a few seconds before turning them out
Typical jeep just rubbish car ,over kill on work on car and price of parts
yeah they make vehicles cheesy like that for safety crumple zones, for your safety instead of making them like tanks
That’s it ! Ribs for dinner !
What a job made me cringe
This is why I buy sedans with room under the hood .
This car is a perfect example of why we got rid of our 2005 Grand Cherokee Ltd.
Never looked back.
Goodness, Mr O!! I can taste those ribs, they look amazing
smoked meat is the best
This was painful to watch. It seals the deal why consumer reports ranks jeeps as such low ratings.
Ever done a starter on one of these pos? They SUCK
Cruel and unusual punishment, ribs look so good.
Fiat Fix it again tony
Eric,
We can blame Hitler and Ferdinand Porsche for the use of Lug bolts. They designed it for the Volksvagen Beetle in the early 40's (fun fact).

Rodents wanted Italian food. Those little trim clips, I’ve had good luck slipping a small socket over them. I don’t know which size on that Fiat but it’s faster and easier than needle nose pliers.
Watching you go after the plastic fasteners, I'm always waiting to hear…"That was already broke…." LOL!
Binging, only a year left to go to be current.
I have been around garages and mechanics for at least 45 years. You, Sir., IMO, are incredible.
