One of our senior techs at the shop had the company work truck which was the same one you're working on in this video same setup he put a radiator in it and an upper radiator hose and lower radiator hose and it took like five attempts to get the air out of the system so hard to get out of this fan and kept showing that it was overheating even though it was just pockets of air that were trapped in the system it was taking forever to travel out even using the vacuum fill system
Since this is an old video does that mean you're off work for the rest of the year?
Psychotherapy? Are you qualified and more importantly do you have a couch?
There's gravity everywhere!
Good job.
Jubilee clips (Hose clips) can be purchased in stainless steel for use in hazardous environments.
Man that phone is annoying!! 😂
Start your own garage from home mate. You will do well.
is it ok to hose off an engine? do you blow it off to remove the standing water?
I would worry about short circuits, corrosion, & thermal shock. well never detailed
any motors , nor watched anyone do one. nice video, great troubleshooting the problems.
Morning Ray. Before half of your viewers were born I remember working on GM cars where the two piece shroud was stapled together. We had to remove the staples to separate the shroud when I put it back together I would use 1/4 20 nuts and bolts with washers, of course, to hold everything together and made it easier to work on next time.

VALDEZ, VAL as in VAL kilmer and DEZ as in DEZ I Arnenz. VAL-DEZ NOT VAL-DEEZ. I hope that is understandable. It just drives me up the wall to hear it pronounced VALDEEZ!
Bro, you are a mechanical fucking genius! I really enjoy watching your videos and only wish my boys, one day will learn this unique talent.
Another great video!

@18:46 – i think you meant, "goo-bricated" with the oil everywhere.
You need a "DOODLY-DOO" installed in your new shop if you want to have continued good luck!
Still wondering if you ever remembered to install hose clamps on the upper radiator hose!
Did you ever remember to put hose clamps on the UPPER radiator hose or did you screw that up?
That truck looks like a truck months unit for steam cleaning of carpets
I watched the whole video and was a little disappointed at not seeing your process of bleeding all of the air out. Do you have an O.E.M. or aftermarket bleeder tool or you just jacked the front end up enough to get the air flow up to and out the radiator?
I'm a retired motorcycle technician and machinist and it's nice to sit back and relax with my coffee and watch someone else do the dirty work as I have on my own 1997 GMC S-15 Sonoma Vortec V-6 extended cab automatic transmission 2 wheel drive with 245,000 plus miles.
Quit doing car side jobs cause things got to be to tight and pain in the ass to work on,,, had already quit doing vans way before that tho
Can you just replace the o-rings in the fittings for the radiator transmission cooler lines??
What a dog of a thing to work on😡
