  1. not meaning to correct you,but as you pull the tire levers towards you ,,ya need to pushthe tire nearest your bellie into the center narrowest part of the rim&that will give relief to your leverage tools

  2. Metric sizes are a pain in the ass I had to renew my tools I still have my AF sizes but had to buy metric spanners and sockets. Europe has a lot to answer for

  3. So I just recently discovered your channel and am quite entertained watching you revive the dead.

Just finished watching the playlist for the cushman, except for the private video, went back to the YouTube home page and this video came up as a recommended video. Thought I must have accidentally skipped it or something so I opened the playlist back up to discover that this video isn't in it.

  4. I wish I had the money AND a way to go down to where you are or wherever I could get some of these. The METER MAID units would work for my company. I would wanna get about 40 of them. They would be used until they would not run at all. Then rebuilt with a VW beetle system.

  5. The Springs in the back of the front tire need to be stretched the tension is been worn out of them friend of mine has a unit just like that and he had to stretch The Springs in the back of the tire and that's the first thing I noticed when where you were looking at the front end

  6. you can get all or most of the parts at direct parts . com, they have a lot nos on hand , I have a 79 Cushman like that, I have put in rebuilt clutch I got a new short block, new carb, I have rebuilt the brakes did sum bodywork . and paint job two, it will go 45 mph on the road, cheep on gas , they have Speedo gear that go's in right rear wheel to drive the speedo , it don't like hot days like in the mid 90s I found it pings when you drive it on hot days over 95 ,its good to go to the store and market it will hold 1000lbs it the trunk , its no-good in snow its to light , no good off road it gets stuck easily in sand , but it fun to drive , good luck with it ,

  7. This is bringing back a lot of memories as I worked as a mechanic at a golf course while I was in college. But i never dealt with front brakes on a Cushman as the turf truckster didn't have front brakes. The bed on them tipped or came entirely off as there were sprayers and spreaders that went on them . Same OMC two cylinder engine that was a neat engine but really didn't put out much power and I suppose they were kind of expensive and that might be why you don't see them used anywhere else. The service manager from our dealer claimed that engine was originally designed to run refer units on semi trailers. One year they made a bunch of turf trucksters and put the wrong heads on them (left on right, right on left) what this meant is after a few hundred hours the intake valves that were being used as exhaust valves burnt out. I suppose using the same heads on each side would make the intake and exhaust a lot more complex although if they had designed the head with the intake on the top center and the exhaust on the bottom center it would of worked.
