  1. Hello I have a question, so I have a 2008 can-am ds 450 .
For some reason it Turn on and drives if I continue to give it gas . But as soon as I sit in one place for longer then 30 seconds it turns off , and keeps doing that , I thought it would be the fuel pump relay but I already change it and it’s doing the same thing can you help me out

  2. I keep learning new stuff from watching your videos — even ones from several years ago! I was wondering (from the last video in this series) why you didn't grind a "v" and use something to fill it (for the oil leak). Thank you for explaining your reasoning! After listening, it made perfect sense!

  3. I must respectfully disagree with the bar welded in under the engine. It is more than strong enough to do the job. The issue I have is that it is too narrow. When (not IF Lol) rocks rub against the bottom of the quad, one will eventually be pointed and with the large unprotected area on either side of the bar damage will occur. IMHO a plate should have been used with holes drilled in it for water to drain, especially since the bottom oil drain plug will no longer be used and access isn't needed to that area under the engine.

Mustie has forgotten more information than I have ever learned for sure so I know better than to say I am smarter then he is. I run dune buggies as a hobby and have learned the hard way about what does and does not work. The degree from the "School of Hard Knocks" is prominently posted on the wall in my garage Lol.

  4. About those pliers you showed on your last video I found them on the Harbour Freight website. They show no part number but they do come in a 3 pc. set of 3 different size pliers. They call them Loge Reach Hose Grip Pliers. The 3 pc. set goes for $14.99. I hope this helps.

  5. Aluminum is porous it will not hold oil, cases are the worst they are full of lamentation and you can see it with your eyes. The holes are there for welding up the tubes or they would pressure up the tubes and get porosity.
