  1. Yeah that blue paper towel stuffed into the intake ports don’t cut it. Especially since you blew all that crap into the ports after that one came out. That’s really my only complaint (yes I watch all these videos) I cut some flat plexiglass type sheets tin various sizes to fit and use blue painters tape to tape them down. Then after the nasty part is done I vacuum each port out after the dirty work is done. The high pressure air blaster blows crap right back in to the ports as you move from one to the next. Just saying…

  2. when i was a kid one of my grandfathers taught me to use a long-shafted screwdriver as a stethoscope.
it was amazing what i could, and sometimes didn't, hear. a great diagnostic tool. totally analogue. no moving parts.
    THANKS, GRANDPA!!!

  3. Too late ! I was going to say bring the car outside to blow the engine out and thereby aerosolising the remaining rat pee and poop , but thankfully you're still alive or very well coordinated undead at worst. Thumbs up.

  4. Just one question Ray, I have never heard your back story. Where did you cut your teeth? Was it as a general mechanic/technician or at a dealership? What age did you start? How long do you have to apprentice and there are probably many more questions but I have been watching for 6 months or so and was just pondering this. Appreciate any reply or if anyone else knows. Thanks. Chris – Not a mechanic and never will be. I just love watching you, Eric O and Ivan figure stuff out. Thanks again.

  5. No, you’re not suffering from that, you are needing the smell of a Lamborghini. I’m Dr. Scratchnsniff and through my decades of watching mechanics I’ve witnessed this phenomenon countless times. Please send $39.95 for my free brochure. Thank you for your time.

  6. Tech tip……always check for injector AND coil codes…..because on that engine, if the coil is out of range, the ecu will shut off the injector for that hole

  7. Awsome videos Ray I came across your channel one day and I can't stop watching very informative. Your knowledge is impressive can't stop watching. I would bring my car to you any day unfortunately I live in Massachusetts where you get all 4 seasons in a week lol
