Why do we not distinguish between Jihadists and Muslim refugees? THEY are terrified of the jihadists and are running for their lives from them. And why is Bannon so attracted to blowing things up, like an 8 year old boy? And who is going to be left to clean up the destruction? We are playing so well into ISIS's recruiting efforts. It's another ignored lesson to me that our collective fear CREATES what we are afraid of. Being that we have the world's most stringent vetting process for immigrants, we should be welcoming and reaching out to these refugees and reaching out to the American Muslims already here.
They are as opposed to the jihadists as we are. The only Muslims we should ban are the Saudis, as most of the 9/11 terrorists were from there. Bush started this by invading Iraq for the oil and now it's spun out of control. The right wing can't do anything right – on both sides… I understand the urge to pull in and self protect and blame the whole religion. But then we have to stop and think of the consequences to humanity. We need to live – all of us, united together against the jihadists – not Muslims. Our fear blinds us to the deeper truth of living for the force of life – not living for the forces of death. This is our real choice.
