I just started working on an L285 that was left in a field for who knows how long. I've been trying to find the piece that you made for the front end loader in the video. I may end up making one after seeing how the original was made in your video. Thanks for sharing!
If this were mine I would find the tiniest turbo I could find and run 20lbs of boost on her but only this three cylinder not the two cylinder as this three cylinder sounds exactly like your two cylinder because one injector is dead, especially now with the steering playing right. The steering gearbox may need filled with heavy oil since it had water in it it may need drained also.
who in the right mind abandoning kubota?!
Mustie what pump have u on the front does this run the loader i am looking for how to put a power steering on my kubota l1500 wish i could have seen the ump on the front thank u u are great
I would definitely put that in my house, it would be the center piece of my office!
ooooohh power steering outfitted on that unit, im jealous..
I bought a b7001 in 2001from Japan in original paint and decals. Always shedded before then and I have continued to do that. Made up the 3 point linkage to suite. They are a fantastic machine. Sad this machine you have has been so neglected
As simple as that electrical system is, you could rip all the wires out and redo all of it nice and neat from scratch in just a few hours using 10ga wire on everything replace all the lights with led bulbs doing backup turn and brake lights as well as bright backup lamps for plowing at night time. Or flip switch for mowing in the dark as well as headlights 100 times brighter. Very littel energy draw.
Why didn't you put the muffler on?
good afternoon… I came across these videos of your and they are great. I just bought a l245dl tractor and trying to get it up and going. for the hydrolic filter for the bucket loader, What is the part number for that filter. I have not been able to find any info on this. much appriated
I’d love to have a small tractor like this
what do you see. .can you see it
if it’s not charging it’s probably the alternator
I hate to say but these are a nice durable small tractor so ur not wasting money fixing or repairing them they can be a little work horse for a lot of reasons and front wheel drive assist.
Why do you say abandoned you paid for and it had a owner ?
…the pissed off look… now that was funny. Keep doing what you do. Thanks
Awesome project! I’ve been looking for a tractor project for years and have never been able to find one cheap enough.
As always super smart man = I consider myself very smart but I keep learning new and better ways watching this channel
Funny it does look angry 😡
I have such a trctor how to install it power steering?
Thanks! I enjoy watching these videos! 👏🍻👍
Wow ,I luv that covered bridge , that would be an awesome place toget some photos .. yea I am old school , hahah nikon 35
Rev her up , get the charging
Fill the fuel filter with marvel oil !!!!
Earth ,Switch, and indicator light.
Too cool
What's happened to the kubota in this video, I might be interested in it.
I thought using the flexible exhaust pipe for the air intake, and also using something like windows screening and or small squared hardware cloth attached to a scoop with the size of an 6-8 inch 2×2 opening on the filter housing you can attach it using a piece of sheet metal welded to the side(or top) of the hood. Since it is just air intake you wouldn't have to worry about heat near the hydraulic hoses of the front loader.
Is it getting… "more better"?
Your stash pile is looking a bit thin, unless you left some of it at your home shop…
Ah yes…
"The NIPSCO choice:Heat or eat".
Looks like it's "Gueten-tite".
Maybe it’s just me, or an optical illusion but, the lift arms (especially the right one) look pushed left. I wonder if whomever left it, rolled it over and tried to fix it but was beyond his abilities and left it as it was found.
really enjoy your projects-keep em comin!
My grandfather had this exact model tractor. It’s definitely worth fixing.
In Oklahoma you'd have to fight the wasps for a tractor that has sat for a couple months.
I’m enjoying the heck outta this.
I just found your channel. I like to bring mechanical things back to life too. Your videos are easy watching. Thanks.
We have one of these things at work, going strong 15 years and gets abused by various drivers pulling 1/2 ton loads all day. Amazing little things.
Love you're videos also many thanks.
Really cool to bring this little gem back to running again.
Your right it should want to go back to it’s original shape all you have to do is convince it that you were right….that’s why they call hammers a convincer!🤔😳😜
Do you not know you go slow and lube when drilling or you'll heat up the bit and kill it? I like your videos as I learn things I did not know and it has helped me a lot on projects. Keep em coming!
I'm late to this vid, but I'm sure this has been asked a million times in the comments…:
But, who in the heck leaves a $10k+ tractor for dead?
Nice score! I have an l245dt. Good little workers
What is a frown Mustie, but an upside down smile😁
I have an L275 from 1982 no bucket 4wd. I use it about 50 hours a year. Nothing wrong with it except a leaking front bearing seal and needs new tires. I hope to get those things done soon.
