I love how much you love that rig and how it brings you so much pride and joy. I myself share those feelings with my rigs. If you get , you get it! Thanks for letting us look over your shoulder! NJ
"A hand held type of item", 🤫 Should have used a dry-wall screw for the light in the door 😀
Nice healthy glob of stickyness!
Very very nice to see it Done ðŸ‘😮😅😊
I like all your ad ons!
Looking good, Ray!!!
Oh, on the speaker grill my bad
Too late now, but I would have goon flat black to match the other small trim parts.
I have done a few interior color changes, if you use an adhesion promoter your color will stay fast.
Good videos
FrankenLadoRadoSierra!!!!
I would love to see the complete removal and reinstallation of the dash and environmental parts.
Great work! Giving me motivation to finish fixing up my Tahoe
Really cool project. Have you considered replacing the leather seat covers? New seats would really finish up the interior.
What size speakers are you running on the back doors? 6.5? Factory speaker housings? Looking to upgrade my Suburban. Know this is an older video but hopefully you see the new comment.
How did you wire in the clock to get it to work?
Another fantastic video ðŸ‘
Cool!! 🩶
you should call this video How to polish a turd chevy lol
You want to get the back bench in before you fit the other side door card other wise you may damage it
9/32 think you’ll find it’s 18/64😂
Didn't know about the chrome on the vents.
Don't forget about the chrome door handle inside or outside pull handle.
Next summer you will end up having that filter rattling around in the door when the hot-melt glue lets loose. Anything I've tried to glue in a vehicle has dislodged in the northern Alabama heat…. Florida is even hotter.
A friend and I did the Denali console swap in my Tahoe. It was not an easy job and took more time than expected. But it was worth it!
All you need now is the escalade front clip and you're in business
Just wondering after replacing and upgrading so much of your interior, will you be replacing your seats.
Should put a CB in that center console pocket instead of using it for storage.
Awesome job!
I have a 206 Escalade ESV and I’m looking for a set of driver door switches.
How do those Rockford Fosgate components sound? Looking for a better quality than the MBquart I have (killed the tweeters with a 100 watt amp)
If something breaks in that door panel its gonna be a fun time replacing it
Nice job Ray. Truck looks really sharp inside.
A couple of things about hot glue: 1) the darker it is the stronger it is. 2) Hot glue will not dissolve but Isopropanol alcohol will make it let go without dissolving it and leaving a mess. I can't wait to see the Rainman Ray Escradao 1500 Powerwagon badge on the fender.
Anyone who has ever removed a dash knows the pain it is and will understand the lack of filming. It’s a lot harder than it looks
Sweet! Nice to see i can paint all the black marks my son has left all over my interior panels with his boots and make them tan again.
You spent all that time to glue the wires down so they don't rattle then at the end you stuff a bunch of loose wire into the door panel?? Makes no sense Ray.
Reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Glad to be here Ray!
Just a quick note, at 16:54 a tap and die set are for nuts and bolts, drill bits are for pilot holes!
You could drill a small 1/16" hole, and use a cotter pin or even a paper clip! Then hot glue from the back as you stated.
Another Great Video As Always!
that truck is now officially an Andrew Camerata edition
Next project, the flatbed tow truck.
Yes absolutely we like watching everything you do and I think we all are invested in what you do to your truck and want to see everything you do to it and love it
Tweeters are usually mounted higher in the cab so a B or C pillar mount might give better results. My two cents. Fantastic attention to detail as always Ray. Great work.
The Rebuild on your Truck sounds Similar to Johnny Cash's Song ==One Piece at a Time Cadillac…
I wonder if the speaker grilles would have popped better if you had painted the section of the door panel behind the grilles the same lighter color?
the circuit for the rear door marker light is there on some models. I noticed the extra wire in either the body or door harness. it`s grey IIRC.
It`s next on the list on my 2005. I have avalanche front seat and wiring harness as I installed heated pair of seat in the same color as my oem. But eventually ill get cadillac interior in neutral
Looks dope bro, just subscribed 🤙
Past long term experience with plastic paint = over time and exposure to oils from your skin and hands…..its starts to peel.
Hey Ray,
I have never posted something. Over the time I noticed that you might have lost some confidence in how you are doing with your channel.
Just want to tell you what an upgrade it has been since you left the old place. You have taken us along on this endavour of starting you own place and I love the content. My favorate content is where you are challenged. Thinking about the subaru, broken bolts, cramped spaces but also doing your own interiour now. I really like that kind of content.
And never forget to have yourself a great day, but more importantly, be there for your loved ones.
In my opinion you are (very close to) the pinnacle of honesty and good form. Both socially and mechanically.
I do wonder if you will actually read this message though. Hope this reaches you.
Love from the netherlands.
Looking good, Ray. Would love to see the dash reassembly.
