Cute car
Great to watch older stuff. But she pops
Lmao Sorry both sheet metal and plastic fit together or separate Remember me if you try to get rich from idea
Watching Plastic so you can pull right onto bed with out damage to bed. Drill holes in sled to apply bungee's holding in place
Not that you will ever run into a situation again of clearance of beam's again but lol you may. The point, Take SHEET METAL and make sled
's for under the tires , Use bungee to hold in place, Drag slow. it might work and will if not real heavy .
On the emergency brake does it work behind the transmission on the drive on the drive shaft 13:01
I take it to release the emergency brak the cables are not frozen up on a break
kit car
Appears to be extremely solid. What a barn find indeed. I'm hopeful of finding one someday. Had a 29 Pontiac that looked very similar to this. Got screwed out it by a so called friend 😞
I thought those had mechanical brakes.
Beautiful looking ride!
Oh,a wonderful car in a very good shape.I love it and I hope you can bring it back to where it seems want to be- on the streets again.
Have you been to mechanics school? Or even a class?
And if battery is bad wont bost
Use 12 volt batter
Love to see that there's still treasures out there to be found.
Look at how the battery is connected.
You act like a bunch of amateurs not pros
Amazed how close to modern rear breaks this car has
The cartoon you were referring to in the first part of the video, is “ Toy Story “
Had the polarity right the first time based on the crank only catching spinning toward the driver side

This gem is crying out to be restored to full esthetic and functionality. 8:37 Says it all, so stylish for its place in our history! Also speaks to the craftmanship, it literally is piece a of art! Give it a good wash, dry, then put several clear coats on her to preserve the original paint job!
1:06:06 Why are the ends of the plug wires touching the head? You're grounding out the ignition circuit.
1:05:44 Replace the ignition coil. Put a meter on it, for resistance. Google it! Then there is the coil that when it heats up from engine heat, it cuts out, broken wire inside!
53:18 Yah. pull the starter and get the Bendix working so it will push out and engage the flywheel. Lots of joy juice, even heat, will assist.
I loved the last bit of video – would make a great screen saver with the ocean and waves in front of the classic split screen VW.
Stop in car step on engage and hit button 2 step
Check see if has oil coolant trans in neutral.
Ah been working on cars awhile. Don't want wired round the steering shaft ok that a no no
Adjusters in backword?
Bro, that looks like easymode save.
I restored a 31 Plymouth when I was 15 in 1962. Almost identical to yours. Great memories
wow what a great preservation! my old honda ct90 6v was so sensitive on the spark because of the low voltage it was my main shutdown cause or no start was spark.
Should of got an 8 volt battery.
If you put the piece back into the manifold and pour the fuel in, get a jumper to the coil and it should start as those old buggers are simple
When pulling it out.. Put some grease/oil under the wheels.. it will slide MUCH easier
Great video – Just love the way you go about the whole thing , talking to us viewers – as if we are all around you – 🫡Hhurraa
Looks like you are going to be a good customer at Rock Auto
OmG is that the most beautiful thing I've seen in a long time.
Updraft and downdraft is based upon the direction the air flows through the carburetor.
This would also explain sidedraft.
These early updrafts were orientated this way, so that the engine wouldn't flood.
