These engines like auto lites. Yes, they're a cheap plug but perfectly fine, infact most tuners recommend them for these engines, especially with just bolt ons like hes doing. Autolite actually makes the motorcraft spark plugs.

It's really a shame, there aren't many options to really make good power with the 2v 4.6. I've seen someone throw literally every single part, including that Edelbrock Victor Junior intake and Edelbrock heads, cams, full tune, headers, oversized TB, and without boost you really can't hardly make 300 horsepower out of it. Let alone you just can't even spin more than 5500. Just really awful engines. Horrible timing chain design. Out of five vehicles ive owned with two valve modulars, every single one of them exhibited chain tensioner compression on hard acceleration causing spark knock on one bank (always drivers) only. Just horrible engines.

Btw 250 hp screams with a 5 spd on Tennessee twister backroads. You cannot use more power, just suspension and brakes. Leave that 4.6 motocraft and be happy.
With that 4.6 go motocraft everything otherwise you will be wondering later if its that aftermarket coil pack or sensor causing a miss or check engine light. Unless its an all out race motor dont use anything aftermarket and be happy with what you have.

…hot air intake…should have left the stock airbox pulling true cold air from the lower fender.
Why I read so much bad reviews on the 78mm bbk tb? That it roughly idles after installation , one of the reasons I didn’t want to take my chances buying one

If you want to add power get rid of the dorman intake and go back to the pi ford one. Dyno proven 20 hp difference
