  1. Well we all have finally what a false the makes were, also the damage that was done with the ventilators that killed so many & caused my health problems. I will never forget what we have learned from the Biden administration, the damage from the lock down, & Fauchi should all be in prison for this hoax. But let's not forget all the money that was made of this hoax, and all the lies that were told, and not a soul being held accountable, that should wake the USA up!!!!

  2. I witnessed medical materials being dumped illegally on the side of the road #45 first term and his #47 2nd term in my home town city trucks dumping fecal matter in a storm drain at 3am at a kum n go. This is still a serious time in the United States. Scary stuff

  3. I have no doubt that the shortages of PPE for healthcare workers experienced during Covid will be just as dire when the next outbreak hits. All this talk of bringing the manufacturing of PPE back to America is just that – talk. It's never going to happen. Healthcare workers will be just as shorthanded when Covid 2.0 hits. At least HHS had enough sense to cancel the contract with Philips Respironics.

As an aside, these tariffs are already shining a light on the fact that NA is far too dependent on China and other countries to supply the products that we consume. It's expected that within the next 4-6 weeks store shelves everywhere are going to be noticeably emptier. How could they not when imports from China alone (and NA sources a LOT of products from China) are expected to drop by 75-80%?

Starting a trade war with China is going to backfire big time…

  4. Oh no! That's Kaiser. That's where I go for my healthcare. I remember how devastated this entire community was when Sandy passed away. It was that sudden silence with fear just flowing out from everyone. That was the most terrifying moments of this pandemic. We locked down, wore masks, and PRAYED we didn't ncstch us because it was a death sentence for many. That's a LOT of anxiety to live under. No winder people are "snapping" now. PTSD from a pandemic is a real thing cuz we're seeing/experiencing it to this day, 4 years later.

  5. As a Nurse I can’t even watch this. The government murdered us. I had to use N95 masks for weeks at a time – masks made to last an hour…when I got sick, there was no remdesevir for me, but plenty for the president… thats not how nurses were treated in the 1950s when my grandmother was a nurse. It was not based on who had insurance for admitting…it was based on illness, and who helped and who didnt. I spent eight days completely short of breath so much so my pH was off the whole time, and I have scarring in my lung bc i didnt have insurance so the doctors wouldnt admit me.

  6. Trump is such a liar, health illiterate, and uneducated man, who cannot even make a smooth delivery. He is dangerous and I hope he never will be in a position of power again.

  7. Here’s the problem that I see. The government goes along and the people in Congress fight over the stuff that they’re fighting over and they all blame everyone else for the reason why things aren’t getting done. This is what was going on when H1 N1 came out and was killing people off. Then corona came along, and it also was killing people off, and the problem that I see is that the government wasn’t prepared they waited until after the fact to prepare, and so lots of people die. The people who were supposed to be taken care of us also got sick and die because they didn’t have the proper protective equipment to protect themselves against this virus.

I appreciate the fact that PBS has done such a bang up job of investigating and reporting this, but their report uncovered a lot of wishy-washy people who are the ones who were interviewed for this program. The people who are speaking, especially the ones who are in charge of the mobilization Never came up with clear step-by-step plans, and how to deal with situations like this and so they were completely unprepared when the situation came up.

I remember something from when I was a kid and it’s this line from Boy Scouts. “ always be prepared.”
If you are officials in the government and you are not prepared for what’s going on and especially in the medical field, then you’ve got a big problem because people out here are dying and you’re going to continue to die until you get your act together.
Throwing people in jail, because they didn’t act or they won’t be on their scope of capabilities it’s not a good way to do it. The fact of the matter is is that you need to be mobilized on a regular basis, and our country needs to begin manufacturing its products so that we can secure our supply lines .
The government again has wishy-washy people in it, and so they fail to secure the supply lines, or at least to manufacture of the materials in this country, which we could do if they were to become a manufacturing hub again however, the government doesn’t want to do that and neither do businesses, because they are looking for the quickest fastest way to make money instead of making sure that every man woman and child has what they need to survive in a situation like the coronavirus are in a other situation, where we’ve got a major medical disaster going on. The poor will always lose because of this reason because they can’t combat medical problems like this, and so they are the ones who are most likely to die.

  8. Wore a disposable one time use n95 mask for 2 weeks. I work in a long-term care facility. Staff given n95s, the residents loose ill fitting cloth masks that most kept on a hook by their door being contaminated. Facility director wondering why all the residents got sick. Imbecility and greed cause this virus to become a pandemic.

  9. this is happening again right now but the pandemic is still going strong and getting much worse. Most ableds have their heads in the sand and the government wants you to ignore it so the economy can continue. Currently there's 2,000-3,000 people dying EACH WEEK but no one is talking about it.

  10. The word "scammer" should be replaced with the word "capitalist," in this episode.

The only metric capitalism has for measuring success is money. Profit.

That always ends up being the bottom line, because someone is always willing to be horrible for profit.

Compounding that, in a nation full of people barely scraping by (thanks, mostly, to capitalists who got there first and made out like bandits), it's pretty easy to come up with people willing to trade morality for some kind of way to get ahead in some way.

  11. It’s very interesting that the people who are in control continue to make excuses about why this didn’t happen and that didn’t happen instead of accepting the responsibility for the things that were done or not done under their watch. If we are going to be the top nation in the world then we need to start producing again and that’s where the problem lies. The United States is a massive consuming nation and if we want to continue to consume perhaps we could produce the stuff that we consume. COVID-19 showed us that we are not prepared for major problems of one type or another either financial medical biological or any other so if we are going to survive the next one then the leaders in leadership need to get their butts in gear and start actually doing something that’s going to make a difference in the manufacturing sectors of the United States! Perhaps we might be able to survive if this is what it’s done!

  12. High schools , Hospitals and public housing should be funded like the military stop spending 1 trillion a year on that spend smarter. We could stop spending on defense now and still have full capabilities for any challenges.
