  1. Update: Google got in contact to say that the Live Updates demo they provided doesn't represent the feature in current form but rather a potential future version. So, if you download the Android 16 Beta 1, you'll notice the feature looks a bit different to the version shown in this video. Let's hope we see the improved version at a later date!

  2. @AndroidAuthority

I usually wait until the Beta 3 Platform Stability Release. That's what I've done ever since @Android has been releasing Developer & Beta Releases.

That way the Apps run more stable and able to use the device with less issues.

  3. Google should make some changes in Android design in Android 16. It's almost the same design since Android 12. They should take some inspiration from skins like OneUI and Oxygen OS.

  4. I have been running beta software on my pixel 7 since day one. Never had any major issues. Maybe a reboot from time to time or an app crash but nothing that stands out

  5. Aaahhh, i wish they would introduce some new lock screen customization, on pixels at least, because the Samsung lock screen customization looks so fun!

  6. i still dont understand the diff between the live updates, and the current live notification implementation. I can already track my uber eats or lyft from my notifications on my pixel.

  7. Always nice to hear that your pixel will get better and better. Last year I bought the regular 9. I will upgrade to pro when 10 will be launched.
    great video.

  8. Do be very careful with Betas. I installed a Beta 1 a few years ago and it bricked my phone.
When I asked Google to help me to fix it, they didn’t want to know.
