11. Yeah the phone UI change kind of screwed me all up the first couple of calls because it updated and I didn't pay attention but I am running the current beta myself.

15. If I wanted phone to have bigger, more colorful buttons I'd get a phone for the kindergarten level kid. I want some consistency, something more professional looking, not a damn toy for toddlers.

    I certainly do. YouTube Music is a hot mess, I've tried switching 3 or 4 times now and Apple Music quality is top notch.

    The call screen was one of the main things I wanted them to start changing, whenever I got a call on my Android it always looked so boring, but now since it's planning on changing, I like it a lot more now, than I did before

19. You know, I am switching to IPhone 15 Pro Max, but if I ever end up breaking mine, I just might go for a Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold!!! That phone is awesome, and with this mega change with Material 3 Expressive, I feel like it's going to be a massive change in what we are all used to with the regular Android experience

20. 1. Hate rounded corner 2. Hate bloated empty spaces between text and buttons 3. Material design (kitkat, lolipop) was better from ergonomic point of view on small screen (more information, text end functional elements on smaller screen) diagonal or resolution.

21. Looks great in docs and on a paper, but Google Drive, Google One, Glance Gemini look weird tbh. Why they make same folder icons bigger but text which actually matters – smaller? Why they don't group those floating buttons instead of making aquarium of buttons on screen (same on Gemini)? On Google One app I can't actually say which design is old and which is new without help. Glance widget is very bad. Why It even has to be transparent instead of being colorful? Why text looks like It was placed randomly even if It doesn't?

    I understand It's still an early beta, but for me It looks like Google will ruin their own design revolution before It would be released. Sadly, after tons of hype on It, It already starts to look old.

23. Looks a bit sub-optimal to me. I hate wasted space. IDK why you would buy a 1440p phone then have the UI looking like it's 540P. I hope it scales down well.

27. Wow I'm really not a fan of that now playing redesign. That album artwork colour scheme could clash with my wallpaper… I liked that it was just a small bit of text at the bottom of the screen that I could simply glance at…

35. These design changes are so minimal. I miss the days when a new version of Android brought really innovative features.

36. I am on material 3 expressive beta, but it doesn’t feel like a whole new look. Overhauls don’t exist anymore. Or probably it’s beta.

37. Why wouldn't one use Apple Music on an Android phone? It's about the music, not about being in some kind of childish team.

38. I guess it will be few more years before they bring back big media player buttons on lock screen. I just want a simple big pause/play media player buttons on lock screen like iPhone, but it seems this is a lost art to Android teams.

45. I love how this new version is more colorful and has more animations vs other versions. Im an iPhone user but so far I'm liking so much more Material 3e in comparison to Liquid Glass 😍
