The ASUS ROG Phone 2 – Asus have now finally unveiled their latest Flagship Gaming Smartphone. In this teardown video, let’s see what’s inside this gaming flagship from ASUS.
Now we already have a disassembled ROG Phone 2, so we are going to start with the different parts of this phone and what components are used.
Before the end of this teardown, we’ll also take a look at how the ROG Phone 2 is put together.
The ASUS ROG Phone 2 sports a 5.59 inch Amoled display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate…
Internally, the ASUS ROG Phone 2 packs the latest Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset with upto 12GB of RAM and 128/512GB storage options with Ufs 3.0 support.
We have a dual camera setup at the back, the primary is everyone’s favorite 48MP Sony IMX586 along with an f/1.8 lens & the secondary is a 13MP ultra-wide camera with a 125 degree field of view.
We also get a mammoth 6,000 mAh battery here. The ROG Phone 2 has support for ASUS’s own 30W Hyper Charge technology with the charger bundled with it, alternatively it also supports Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3.0.
So let’s go ahead disassemble the ROG Phone 2 and take a look at how it’s engineered!
