Um you forgot to put the coolant overflow bottle lid back on.
Clean up the battery connectors they look rusted.

Of course the check engine light reset itself, you had the battery disconnected multiple times
You forgot to put the radiator cap back on my dude. 2 years later its probably still sitting there under the hood with the two bolts. lol
I know my comment is a bit late. but dont test a batterly in circuit if you want to test it properly. Also did you ever put that coolent cap back on ? saw you close the hood but never put the cap back on.
Hope you went back and reinstalled the coolant reservoir cap you left off……….

That’s what makes you the man! You don’t give up even when there’s no money in it you still do the morally correct thing! Many mechanics would have simply told the customer they need a new battery and terminals. Then diagnosed the problem if there still was one. I admire that you carry those work ethics. I did the same when I was a woodworker.
