Thanks to Jesse for making the intro and graphic for us to enjoy!!

What’s really interesting is when you see these dimwits with 1500 pickups or a midsize suv towing a camper and the rear end is squatted down and then you see them at the repair shop asking questions about how their vehicle is broken.
What video is it where you install sound deadening
Ray you do excellent work!
It would have been easier, quicker and less expensive to install rear air bags, which would greatly improve ride, stability and keep from squatting the truck down to the over loads. Remote air. Front and rear. You couldn't pay me to be without them ever again. No way.
I would have given you a thumbs up but YouTube isn't letting me vote up or down anymore
I just noticed that you have the same LED taillights that I have on my truck. I likem, looks good.
Something about watching you hand pop out with a hammer and tap a bolt in is just physical comedy.
Nice work given the bigness of it. Getting under any vehicle poses potential issues. My DIY practice is, lube any nuts and bolts, brush/clean any surfaces that are dirt etc, then put the tools to work. Also work gloves and eye protection.
Ray, your a good mechanic, but dont make singing your side gig! 🙂
Take a 🥃 every time Ray says "load"
I dont liking my truck squat 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Those u-bolt threads give a new meaning to needing a deep socket.
great great job as always amen
Nice upgrade. What about new shocks in the rear? To wear them in with the new characteristics of the new spring pack to optimize ride? Looking forward to hearing about the results while towing.
Great video thanks for sharing it with us
it is better to have that extra support when you know you will be loading it up! did you torque
the u bolts? are you going to cut off the extra length of the u bolts so that they do not bottom out?
I thought every mechanics had creepers! seats and ladders to access vehicles!
OSHA won't be mad at you
Now they would be mad if you let your workers do it.
I do my duals valve stems 180 degrees out from each other, and put extensions on both to make checking air pressure much easier.
Better than making it air ride.
Hey Rainman. What has happened to your channel lately? It seems that your really detailed work on engines Miss your quality workmanship and really in depth knowledge of vehicles. Be well.
WoW Rayz' Usin Big Boi T00Lz 😛
I take bolts that arent going in well to the bench grinder and put a bigger chamfer on them. They act like their own alignment bolts after that.

19:25 WARNING: No threads was damaged on the making of this video, PETA !
I wish 2012 gmc 1500 were this easy!!!
Next time you need to install some springs, you need to eat your Wheaties!
You valve dump should be the opposite. You got one on top. The outside should be at the bottom. DOT would give you a ticket for having a ball at the same spot.
I’m looking forward to having you look at our vehicle December 5 as Lauren put it on the schedule
I’m a little concerned, the U-bolt in the rear on the right rear spring is not seated in the slot from the view of the camera. you may want to check it as I’m sure you know if it gets stretched, the U-bolt could slide down into the slot and have a loose condition and allow the springs to miss a line. A quick confirmation would be neat to see on a short video or something out of a concern for your safety.
Question sir .
Yes, you updated the rear but do you have to add weight to the front of the truck to make up for extra weight to be carried or towed ?
I only asked because more weight on back would make the front light and may make sterring difficult at times.
It's definitely a nice update for sure . Be safe all.
The next weak spot will be your outer axle bearings. Plan accordingly while the made in USA parts are still available.
Retired trucker here, In my day we had 'Valve Stem Extensions for the Inner Dual Tires. These made it possible to check air pressures without "Diggin" deep past the outer rims… kinda HANDY when it comes to Canadian winters too.(brrrr, ya aint gonna get a RIG inside a warm garage to check tire pressures aint time of the year). 29:39 BTW, thanks for those memories, its been a long time since i thought about my driving days… you rang a bell talking about tire valve stems.
Hi Ray, do you have a PO Box as I am in the UK and I would like to send you a gift?
My favorite song!
Poor Ray, you trying to show something about valve stems. (I m sure you can get the valve stems in your orientation but I m sure 180out would be better
Good job ðŸ‘
You have a lot of weight on the end of ONE top leaf. I believe two would be needed for that extra overload. I seen them snap on the end next to the hanger. Just a suggestion. Cheers
most the time I worked on my car was on the street with a jack and I was lucky if it wasn't raining half i was in a gutar

Have you considered upgrading the two post hoist that’s currently out-of-service in third stall to an +8T Heavy-Duty Four Post Ramp Lift with Rolling Jacks to safely work on trucks and enabling you to offer wheel alignments to all vehicles.
Why didn’t you get longer center bolts and go through the whole spring pack ? Like the old one
I was today years old when I finally realized why tire Inflation nozzles have two ports on them…
I've scratched my head many times wondering why there'd be two, facing opposite directions
Ray is going to have more money in upgrades than the truck is worth. I need to to the same thing (upgrade springs) to my truck, a 96 Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel, but in the front as the custom Ranch Hand style bumper (built by a pipe welder and made of schedule 40 pipe) weighs considerably more than the original and I bottom out at times. I have the part number for snow plow springs which should do the trick if they are still available.
rotate ur dually…inwer is wearing more then outer…
The valve stems are supposed to be 180 degrees from each other. At least that’s how semi trucks and trailers are done.
hope u put anti seize on ur bolts before u put them in the bushings…
remember u have salt water in the air………
why do u have wasp nests on a truck u drive every day?
also stop over loading your truck jn the forst place, then u would not had to do all this other work
