  1. I've recently brought back visiting random strangers in jail and prison. And with this idea that I came up with a few years ago, this return has been so powerful. Because we have been able to BLESS a few different complete random strangers who are locked up with a few dollars on their canteen account and also the possibility of a penpal. Today we meet Brandi McCurry in Franklin County Alabama. She can be found on the GETTINGOUT.COM website or app if your interested in offering her a kind word. Check out all of my other links as well in the description of this video. And leave a like and comment if you enjoy!

  2. This could be really good, for those people and for the channel. I'd like to see two things happening: 1) let them know about APS, that they're going to be on YT, and ask if it's okay with them (don't know if that happened before the part we saw), 2) Do regular check-ins on 6–10 people. Now that we've met Brandi, we want to care about her in an ongoing relationship. I'd come back to watch that. Keep up the good work, Joe.

  3. I didn't like visits when I was locked up…I hated using the phone..I did love getting mail but now you send mail to Maryland n they photo copy your mail n then send it to you.i was in florida n I can't believe how long guys sat with out going to court…I'm talking years for some..one cell mate was 2 years no court..i couldn't believe inmates have tablet use and people can send you care packs n hot food..the only thing is they don't tell you who sent it…seems to be a huge money grab..$4 a day to be locked up…n yes u need money on both ends to send text messages…

  4. WIth all of the content you are doing and live steams, etc. Consider doing a weekly recap of everything going on here. Who you talked to, what you are going to do next, what kind of support they recived and what they thought of it, and provide their contact info.

    This is great content!

  5. Joe please put your phone on a tripod, 😂😂 Shit had my dying for some reason, but all jokes aside when you're talking to these people, I think it's only respectful to be looking at them face to face and not your forehead.

  6. Started as a dishwasher. Now a professional chef and trauma one emt. No shame in it, and yes I've also been locked up and addicted. Kicked it. It is possible. This is 10 years ago. Keep your head up, every journey starts with one step. Thanks Joe, anything is possible, if you can't see it at the time, keep on trucking❤

  7. I sent her 10.00 but didn’t see where to send a message. I’m so blessed I had outside support during my times getting in trouble. That seems like a lifetime ago and I hope she gets to have the same experience. This is what’s the internet should be used for, helping and supporting one another ❤ thank u Joe

  8. Coming from someone thats done time in prison and locked up in jail many times, what you are doing for these people is amazing and heartwarming. I was locked up with a lot of good people who had not one person for support. Not a letter. Nothing. You're a good man, Joe. Dont ever forget that or let anyone tell you otherwise. 🤘🤘
