  1. I know this is an old topic, but with your toolbox, I think you can maybe make a profile/guide about this app and include it in the windows toolbox.

  2. Also no you dont need to be running security updates lol, every 2-3 years just yarrr a new version of windows or allow updates once a year if youre trying to be legit about it and unless someone is specifically out to get you you wont have any issue, even with security updates if someone is really targeting you, your funny updates probably wont stop them if they're dedicated enough and not just some call centre indians since windows is probably the least secure OS anyway, even more so if you just use basic defender and nothing else on top of it.

  3. This is ridiculous… this should have been a basic windows feature, this is how it should really work, not like all the useless protection theyve put in there and other nonsense, proves they dont care about your security but your data, they just want to secure your data so windows gets most of it by default.

  4. Eu resolvi instalar o simplewall como alternativa ao "windows debloat script's" que sempre acabam criando algum problema que eu não consigo resolver. O simplewall é a melhor solução de privacidade que consegui manter sem precisar quebrar o Windows!

I decided to install simplewall as an alternative to "windows debloat script's" that always end up creating some problem that I can't solve. Simplewall is the best privacy solution I've managed to maintain without having to break Windows!

  5. How can i compile simplewall?

I Have tried many times and i always get an error.

Its pointless to use open code if you cant compile it!

    Pls Help!

  6. I want to know if you can use Simplewall whilst having Kaspersky Total Security installed on your system. I also can't seem to find (along with everyone else interested in Simplewall) any online tutorials or instructions for dummies on how to use it without disabling everything and crashing your system! I know it's supposed to be aimed at advanced users, but how will dummies gain knowledge unless we have help with these programmes and progress along the path to "advanced users". Basically I want to prevent "Windows Update service" and it's big brother "Windows Update Medic Service" from accessing the internet when I don't wish to download or install any updates that I do not want on my system. I would like to just use Kaspersky for this, but as yet I have not found a way (as shown in the above video using Simplewall) to do this. Will Simplewall conflict with Kaspersky's Firewall? Help on this will be greatly appreciated.

  7. MS forces software that I don't want or trust to be permanently integrated onto my property without consent, and unless that creep, Bill is going to pay for my hardware, forget it.

  8. I want to block internet connection of an application but also want to allow ethernet connection to that application because the license of that application needs to be shared on local network, is it possible

  9. Does it have a ‘block all new programs by default’ option? This would be useful for the average user who doesn’t want to block system functions, but only those programs that he downloads after a fresh installation of Windows. Thanks.

  10. Thanks for the laughs and the wonderful tutorial. After comodo firewall became bloatware, was searching for an alternative. This firewall is very lightweight. More people should be made aware of such software.

  11. I use Net limiter Pro and it is actually good, has built in firewall and can limit bandwidth to apps and set network usage priority (works if its the only system in your lan)
